Our Stylist Says
I love the Hampton bed’s soft velvet finish and bold saffron colour-it's a real statement piece that works well in both contemporary and eclectic interiors. The boucle fabric adds texture and a cosy feel, making it inviting without feeling overly formal. As a stylist, I'd suggest pairing it with neutral bedding and layered cushions in muted tones to allow the rich colour and tactile fabric to shine. Practical tip: keep the surrounding decor clean and streamlined to balance the plushness of the bed, and consider adding metallic accents or warm wood tones in the space for a balanced, modern look. Its commanding presence makes it ideal for a master suite that wants to combine comfort with a touch of luxe.

About The Range
Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
More Than Just Stores
You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
