Description

Product Information The Little Professor from Halo is a quirky range with curvy shapes and slim arms that are enhanced with fine details. Covered in hand-finished hide it also has stud detailing outlining the seams. The seat cushion is reversible with the reverse woven in vintage moleskin. Aniline leather has been dyed to colour and sometimes features a thin, clear protective coating or no coating at all. It has the advantage of showcasing the natural beauty and texture of the leather for a stylishly rustic finish. Try before you buy We're confident in our furniture's quality, but it's always a good idea to check that it's a good personal fit for you.

Our Stylist Says

The Halo Little Professor small 2 seater sofa in dark leather is a versatile piece that blends smart sophistication with practicality. I love its compact size, making it ideal for smaller living spaces or as an extra seating option in larger rooms. Its leather finish adds a timeless quality, and the dark hue makes it easy to coordinate with various colour schemes. When styling, consider contrasting softer textures like light throws or cushions to soften the look, or pair with modern metal or wooden accents for a contemporary vibe. This sofa works well in both classic and contemporary interiors, especially when paired with sleek side tables or a cosy throw for an inviting, lived-in feel.

About John Lewis

Founded in 1864, John Lewis is a trusted and beloved brand where you can find a diverse range of furniture for every style and budget, alongside finding the perfect item that reflects your personal taste.

A Legacy of Innovation and Inclusion

John Lewis started as a small shop on London's Oxford Street in 1864. Today, it's part of a bigger family called the John Lewis Partnership, which also includes Waitrose stores.

What makes them special is that they're owned by their employees, known as 'Partners'. The idea, from the beginning, was to give everyone a say in how the business was run. With over 74,000 Partners (employees) at the heart of its operations, the essence of John Lewis's vision, from over a century ago, still echoes today being the largest employee-owned venture.

Adapting to Changing Times

Like many stores, John Lewis has had to change with the times. They've closed some shops but have grown their online business a lot, especially when more people started shopping online during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Their history is filled with key moments, like buying Peter Jones in 1905, adding Waitrose in 1937, and starting their website in 2001. They've always tried to adapt and stay relevant.

Commitment to a Greater Purpose

John Lewis believes in doing good and making the world a better place. This is seen in the way they treat their employees and customers. For example, in 2021, they were the first big UK store to give parents six months paid leave when they have a baby and two weeks paid leave if they lose a pregnancy. They've been around for over a century and always aim to do the right thing by everyone.
