Description

Known in America for their expertise in safe sleep, HALO® created the Bassi. Nest® Swivel Sleeper with the goal of making safe, close sleep easier. It's the only bassinet that swivels 360° for the ultimate in convenience, comfort and sleep safety. Ideal for mothers after childbirth and especially C-sections, the patented lowering bedside wall makes it easier to tend to baby from bed. For safety, the wall automatically locks when returned to upright position. The mesh walls provide airflow, and also allow you to view your baby at eyelevel. It comes equipped with a Soothing Centre that features amber nightlight, floorlight, 2 vibration levels and 4 soothing sounds—all with auto-shutoff. It also boasts a versatile space saving design that tucks under the bed and requires only 81.5cm of room next to the bed. Key Features: America's trusted safe sleep brand – now available in Europe Swivels 360° for safe, close sleep Patented lowering bedside wall lets you tend to baby from bed Rotates to make getting out of bed easier Soothing Centre with calming sounds, vibration and nightlights Breathable, mesh walls for optimal airflow Stable base adjusts from 61cm – 84cm to fit most beds Requires only 81.5cm of free space next to bed Tucks under bed to save space; requires only 3.8cm of clearance Includes waterproof mattress pad and machine-washable fitted sheet Suitable for babies up to 5 months or 10kg. Our Stylist Says

I love how the Halo BassiNest works seamlessly in a variety of interior styles, from modern Scandinavian nurseries to more traditional or minimalist spaces. Its clean, crisp design makes it versatile enough to sit effortlessly within neutral colour schemes, where it can act as a functional focal point, or in softer pastel palettes for a gentle, calm aesthetic. Practical styling tips include pairing it with lightweight, textured fabrics for the bedding to add a soft layer of comfort, and positioning it within a dedicated nursery corner with plenty of storage solutions nearby to keep essentials within arm’s reach. The swivel feature and adjustable height make it especially user-friendly, blending practicality with a sleek look that complements contemporary interiors.

About John Lewis

Founded in 1864, John Lewis is a trusted and beloved brand where you can find a diverse range of furniture for every style and budget, alongside finding the perfect item that reflects your personal taste.

A Legacy of Innovation and Inclusion

John Lewis started as a small shop on London's Oxford Street in 1864. Today, it's part of a bigger family called the John Lewis Partnership, which also includes Waitrose stores.

What makes them special is that they're owned by their employees, known as 'Partners'. The idea, from the beginning, was to give everyone a say in how the business was run. With over 74,000 Partners (employees) at the heart of its operations, the essence of John Lewis's vision, from over a century ago, still echoes today being the largest employee-owned venture.

Adapting to Changing Times

Like many stores, John Lewis has had to change with the times. They've closed some shops but have grown their online business a lot, especially when more people started shopping online during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Their history is filled with key moments, like buying Peter Jones in 1905, adding Waitrose in 1937, and starting their website in 2001. They've always tried to adapt and stay relevant.

Commitment to a Greater Purpose

John Lewis believes in doing good and making the world a better place. This is seen in the way they treat their employees and customers. For example, in 2021, they were the first big UK store to give parents six months paid leave when they have a baby and two weeks paid leave if they lose a pregnancy. They've been around for over a century and always aim to do the right thing by everyone.
