Description

Hope you like the designer tweaks we've made to a classic bedframe? Sleigh style is always a bit rustic, and sometimes a bit posh. Our design is modern and slimline with a boutique feel. Still sporting a scrolled head and footboard, Vermont benefits from the addition of some wonderfully chunky legs. Crafted in smooth, solid pine and with sprung slats to give extra bounce to your mattress, the frame is both strong and comfortable. Finished in dark charcoal paint, we simply adore the result.

Our Stylist Says

I love this Vermont Kingsize Bed Frame in charcoal for its clean lines and versatile colour, making it adaptable to a range of interior styles. Its classic yet contemporary look works well in modern minimal schemes, Scandi interiors, or even traditional bedrooms when paired with layered textiles. To style it effectively, consider adding textured bedding to soften its sleek finish, and a coordinating headboard for a cohesive look. Practical tips include choosing lighter or patterned bedding to create contrast, and positioning bedside tables with statement lamps or decorative accessories to enhance the overall aesthetic. Its enduring, understated design makes it a versatile centrepiece for creating a calming, stylish bedroom environment.

About Habitat

Founded in 1964, Habitat are a renowned brand, and a go-to destination for modern and stylish furniture and home accessories.

The Birth of Habitat

In 1964, Sir Terence Conran founded Habitat in London, aiming to bring a fresh European touch to UK home decor.

The first store, located on Fulham Road in Chelsea, became the blueprint for all Habitat stores to come. The store stood out with its distinct design, and was famously known for selling affordable pasta storage jars just as the pasta market began booming in the UK.

Rapid Expansion & Legacy

Habitat grew swiftly in the UK during the 1960s and even crossed borders with its first international store in Paris in 1973.

The brand's journey through the decades saw various mergers and acquisitions, including its integration with Sainsbury's Group in 2017.

Habitat's innovation extended beyond products; they even launched a mail-order system in 1966 and initiated the concept of flat-pack furniture in 1971.

Celebrating its rich history, the brand marked its 50th anniversary in 2014 by collaborating with past designers and commissioning a special logo.

Innovation & Collaboration

Habitat has always been at the forefront of modern design. Throughout its history, the brand has been renowned for its collaborations with acclaimed artists and designers, ensuring it consistently offers unique, limited-edition collections.

Under the umbrella of the Sainsbury's Group since 2017, Habitat continues its tradition of merging contemporary aesthetics with functional design, solidifying its reputation as a leading name in home furnishings.
