Description

Fill the space between your sofa and TV with this characterful coffee table. Designed to last, this table from the Habitat Venice collection has a solid, chunky design with softly rounded edges. Finished in a striking and trendy two-tone grey, it will keep your lounge clutter-free. The open shelving provides practical storage space for magazines, books and the TV guide. The top is just the ticket for keeping your remote controls and cup of coffee close to hand. Practical and pretty.

Our Stylist Says

The Habitat Venice coffee table is a versatile piece that works well in both modern and minimalist interiors due to its clean lines and neutral grey finish. I love how its open shelving offers practical storage for magazines, remote controls, or decorative accents, making it as functional as it is stylish. When styling, consider adding cosy elements like a tray with candles or a small plant on top, and use the open shelves for organised styling with books or baskets. This piece is ideal for contemporary spaces but also easily anchors more eclectic or Scandi-inspired rooms, making it a flexible addition to many living rooms.

About Habitat

Founded in 1964, Habitat are a renowned brand, and a go-to destination for modern and stylish furniture and home accessories.

The Birth of Habitat

In 1964, Sir Terence Conran founded Habitat in London, aiming to bring a fresh European touch to UK home decor.

The first store, located on Fulham Road in Chelsea, became the blueprint for all Habitat stores to come. The store stood out with its distinct design, and was famously known for selling affordable pasta storage jars just as the pasta market began booming in the UK.

Rapid Expansion & Legacy

Habitat grew swiftly in the UK during the 1960s and even crossed borders with its first international store in Paris in 1973.

The brand's journey through the decades saw various mergers and acquisitions, including its integration with Sainsbury's Group in 2017.

Habitat's innovation extended beyond products; they even launched a mail-order system in 1966 and initiated the concept of flat-pack furniture in 1971.

Celebrating its rich history, the brand marked its 50th anniversary in 2014 by collaborating with past designers and commissioning a special logo.

Innovation & Collaboration

Habitat has always been at the forefront of modern design. Throughout its history, the brand has been renowned for its collaborations with acclaimed artists and designers, ensuring it consistently offers unique, limited-edition collections.

Under the umbrella of the Sainsbury's Group since 2017, Habitat continues its tradition of merging contemporary aesthetics with functional design, solidifying its reputation as a leading name in home furnishings.
