Description

Unapologetically bold. Our carved geo cushion is made for adding unmissable drama to your sofa, chairs, or bed. The sculptured geometric shapes bring a textured edge to the rich velvet fabric. Irresistibly plush and deliciously plump. Even the intense colours are warmly inviting. And the zip off cover means it's easy to keep it looking its best. Go on, be brave.

Our Stylist Says

This cushion is a great choice for adding visual interest to both contemporary and eclectic interiors thanks to its bold geometric carving and multicoloured palette. I love how it instantly injects texture and personality into sofas, armchairs, or even bedroom beds. The rich, warm tones make it versatile for natural fibre sofas or earthy colour schemes, but it also works to brighten up more neutral settings. When styling, consider pairing it with solid-coloured cushions or throws for a curated layered look. Its size (43x43cm) makes it perfect for mixing and matching in a variety of seating arrangements, helping to create a welcoming, styled space without feeling too formal or cluttered.

About Habitat

Founded in 1964, Habitat are a renowned brand, and a go-to destination for modern and stylish furniture and home accessories.

The Birth of Habitat

In 1964, Sir Terence Conran founded Habitat in London, aiming to bring a fresh European touch to UK home decor.

The first store, located on Fulham Road in Chelsea, became the blueprint for all Habitat stores to come. The store stood out with its distinct design, and was famously known for selling affordable pasta storage jars just as the pasta market began booming in the UK.

Rapid Expansion & Legacy

Habitat grew swiftly in the UK during the 1960s and even crossed borders with its first international store in Paris in 1973.

The brand's journey through the decades saw various mergers and acquisitions, including its integration with Sainsbury's Group in 2017.

Habitat's innovation extended beyond products; they even launched a mail-order system in 1966 and initiated the concept of flat-pack furniture in 1971.

Celebrating its rich history, the brand marked its 50th anniversary in 2014 by collaborating with past designers and commissioning a special logo.

Innovation & Collaboration

Habitat has always been at the forefront of modern design. Throughout its history, the brand has been renowned for its collaborations with acclaimed artists and designers, ensuring it consistently offers unique, limited-edition collections.

Under the umbrella of the Sainsbury's Group since 2017, Habitat continues its tradition of merging contemporary aesthetics with functional design, solidifying its reputation as a leading name in home furnishings.
