Description

Our twisted candles are sleek with tapered ends, designed to fit easily into a candlestick. In a variety of mellow shades, they bring a touch of elegance to home or table.

Our Stylist Says

I love these twisted taper candles for their understated elegance and versatility. Their neutral colours and understated design make them suitable for a wide range of interiors, from minimalist and Scandi-inspired spaces to more traditional or eclectic settings. They work well when paired with metallic holders or alongside other textured accessories for a layered look. Practical styling tips include placing them in statement candleholders on a dining table or sideboard, or using them as a focal point in a centrepiece. Because they are unscented, they’re perfect for settings where you want the ambiance of candlelight without interfering with other fragrances or the atmosphere of a room.

About Habitat

Founded in 1964, Habitat are a renowned brand, and a go-to destination for modern and stylish furniture and home accessories.

The Birth of Habitat

In 1964, Sir Terence Conran founded Habitat in London, aiming to bring a fresh European touch to UK home decor.

The first store, located on Fulham Road in Chelsea, became the blueprint for all Habitat stores to come. The store stood out with its distinct design, and was famously known for selling affordable pasta storage jars just as the pasta market began booming in the UK.

Rapid Expansion & Legacy

Habitat grew swiftly in the UK during the 1960s and even crossed borders with its first international store in Paris in 1973.

The brand's journey through the decades saw various mergers and acquisitions, including its integration with Sainsbury's Group in 2017.

Habitat's innovation extended beyond products; they even launched a mail-order system in 1966 and initiated the concept of flat-pack furniture in 1971.

Celebrating its rich history, the brand marked its 50th anniversary in 2014 by collaborating with past designers and commissioning a special logo.

Innovation & Collaboration

Habitat has always been at the forefront of modern design. Throughout its history, the brand has been renowned for its collaborations with acclaimed artists and designers, ensuring it consistently offers unique, limited-edition collections.

Under the umbrella of the Sainsbury's Group since 2017, Habitat continues its tradition of merging contemporary aesthetics with functional design, solidifying its reputation as a leading name in home furnishings.
