Description

Inspired by Moroccan designs, the Berber cream zig zag wool 50 x 50cm cushion will add warmth to a room whilst creating a striking focal point. Created in the Habitat design studio and made in India from 100% wool, it will complement both neutral and vibrant design schemes.

Our Stylist Says

I love this cushion for adding texture and pattern to both contemporary and boho interiors. Its geometric design in a neutral ivory makes it versatile, pairing well with a variety of colour palettes and styles. The tufted berber fabric offers a cosy, tactile feel that’s perfect for living rooms or bedrooms aiming for a relaxed, inviting look. For styling, try layering it with other cushions in different textures or colours for visual interest, especially on a neutral sofa or bed. It also works well mixed with earthy tones or paired with darker furnishings for a striking contrast. Practical tips include placing it where it can be easily seen and enjoyed, and using it to add a little softness and personality to a minimalist scheme.

About Habitat

Founded in 1964, Habitat are a renowned brand, and a go-to destination for modern and stylish furniture and home accessories.

The Birth of Habitat

In 1964, Sir Terence Conran founded Habitat in London, aiming to bring a fresh European touch to UK home decor.

The first store, located on Fulham Road in Chelsea, became the blueprint for all Habitat stores to come. The store stood out with its distinct design, and was famously known for selling affordable pasta storage jars just as the pasta market began booming in the UK.

Rapid Expansion & Legacy

Habitat grew swiftly in the UK during the 1960s and even crossed borders with its first international store in Paris in 1973.

The brand's journey through the decades saw various mergers and acquisitions, including its integration with Sainsbury's Group in 2017.

Habitat's innovation extended beyond products; they even launched a mail-order system in 1966 and initiated the concept of flat-pack furniture in 1971.

Celebrating its rich history, the brand marked its 50th anniversary in 2014 by collaborating with past designers and commissioning a special logo.

Innovation & Collaboration

Habitat has always been at the forefront of modern design. Throughout its history, the brand has been renowned for its collaborations with acclaimed artists and designers, ensuring it consistently offers unique, limited-edition collections.

Under the umbrella of the Sainsbury's Group since 2017, Habitat continues its tradition of merging contemporary aesthetics with functional design, solidifying its reputation as a leading name in home furnishings.
