Description

Need a nice dark room to get a good night's sleep? Yep, so do we. That's why we love this pair of textured blackout curtains. They'll help keep the light out, making sure you get a decent rest all year round. We've chosen an eyelet header to give them soft, wide folds and for ease of installation. There's no fiddling required, simply slot them onto the curtain pole and you're done. Grey. Silver stainless iron Eyelets. Features Blackout. Made from 100% polyester. Lined. Lining made from 100% polyester. Dimensions Size 168cm (66 inches) wide by 229cm (90 inches) drop. Width refers to one curtain panel before hanging. Eyelet diameter: 4cm.

Our Stylist Says

I really like this pair of blackouts because they combine practicality with a sleek, understated look. The textured plain fabric adds subtle visual interest without overwhelming the space, making them versatile for various interior styles-from contemporary to minimalist. They're ideal in living rooms or bedrooms where you want to block out light and add a touch of sophistication. For styling tips, consider pairing the grey with crisp white walls or soft pastels for a calm, modern vibe. Hanging them slightly wider than the window frame will create an illusion of larger windows and help in achieving a fuller, more tailored finish. These curtains work particularly well in neutral-toned, uncluttered interiors where their muted colour and clean lines can really shine.

About Habitat

Founded in 1964, Habitat are a renowned brand, and a go-to destination for modern and stylish furniture and home accessories.

The Birth of Habitat

In 1964, Sir Terence Conran founded Habitat in London, aiming to bring a fresh European touch to UK home decor.

The first store, located on Fulham Road in Chelsea, became the blueprint for all Habitat stores to come. The store stood out with its distinct design, and was famously known for selling affordable pasta storage jars just as the pasta market began booming in the UK.

Rapid Expansion & Legacy

Habitat grew swiftly in the UK during the 1960s and even crossed borders with its first international store in Paris in 1973.

The brand's journey through the decades saw various mergers and acquisitions, including its integration with Sainsbury's Group in 2017.

Habitat's innovation extended beyond products; they even launched a mail-order system in 1966 and initiated the concept of flat-pack furniture in 1971.

Celebrating its rich history, the brand marked its 50th anniversary in 2014 by collaborating with past designers and commissioning a special logo.

Innovation & Collaboration

Habitat has always been at the forefront of modern design. Throughout its history, the brand has been renowned for its collaborations with acclaimed artists and designers, ensuring it consistently offers unique, limited-edition collections.

Under the umbrella of the Sainsbury's Group since 2017, Habitat continues its tradition of merging contemporary aesthetics with functional design, solidifying its reputation as a leading name in home furnishings.
