Description

Time to get a little artsy? Our stunning green studio coffee table might be just the statement piece you've been looking for. Moulded in a cork shaped form with ribbed pedestal in durable powder coated metal, we reckon this has the hallmark of a contemporary style icon. Go on, wow your friends with this focal feature.

Our Stylist Says

I love this green coffee table for its bold, contemporary presence and playful design. Its sculptural form works beautifully in modern or eclectic interiors, acting as both a functional surface and a statement piece. It pairs well with neutral-toned sofas and minimalist settings, offering a pop of colour without overpowering the space. For styling tips, consider layering it with mixed materials-like metallic trays or ceramic bowls-to add texture, or placing a cosy rug underneath to define a seating area. This piece lends itself well to both casual family rooms and more sophisticated living spaces, making it a versatile addition in various interior schemes.

About Habitat

Founded in 1964, Habitat are a renowned brand, and a go-to destination for modern and stylish furniture and home accessories.

The Birth of Habitat

In 1964, Sir Terence Conran founded Habitat in London, aiming to bring a fresh European touch to UK home decor.

The first store, located on Fulham Road in Chelsea, became the blueprint for all Habitat stores to come. The store stood out with its distinct design, and was famously known for selling affordable pasta storage jars just as the pasta market began booming in the UK.

Rapid Expansion & Legacy

Habitat grew swiftly in the UK during the 1960s and even crossed borders with its first international store in Paris in 1973.

The brand's journey through the decades saw various mergers and acquisitions, including its integration with Sainsbury's Group in 2017.

Habitat's innovation extended beyond products; they even launched a mail-order system in 1966 and initiated the concept of flat-pack furniture in 1971.

Celebrating its rich history, the brand marked its 50th anniversary in 2014 by collaborating with past designers and commissioning a special logo.

Innovation & Collaboration

Habitat has always been at the forefront of modern design. Throughout its history, the brand has been renowned for its collaborations with acclaimed artists and designers, ensuring it consistently offers unique, limited-edition collections.

Under the umbrella of the Sainsbury's Group since 2017, Habitat continues its tradition of merging contemporary aesthetics with functional design, solidifying its reputation as a leading name in home furnishings.
