Description

Swoosh. Transform your room and dress your window with our mustard yellow stripe blackout curtains. Eye-catching and stylish they'll certainly lift the mood of your interior. Ready made and easy to hang in soft folds, these are lovely drapes. The eyelet header is a popular look, neat and uncomplicated and makes them easy to open and close. Even better they are 100% cotton and fully lined – so easy to care for. Our design can be mixed and matched with a multitude of colours and styles.

Our Stylist Says

I love these curtains for their bold stripe pattern and versatile blackout functionality, making them both stylish and practical. The mustard hue adds a pop of colour that works beautifully in neutral or muted interiors, especially Scandinavian or contemporary schemes. They can be paired with simple, clean-lined furniture to add a touch of warmth and personality to any room. Practical styling tips include keeping the surrounding decor minimal to let the fabric stand out, or mixing them with textured cushions and throws in similar warm tones for a more layered look. They’re particularly suitable for bedrooms or living spaces where controlling light is a priority, without compromising on a modern, sleek aesthetic.

About Habitat

Founded in 1964, Habitat are a renowned brand, and a go-to destination for modern and stylish furniture and home accessories.

The Birth of Habitat

In 1964, Sir Terence Conran founded Habitat in London, aiming to bring a fresh European touch to UK home decor.

The first store, located on Fulham Road in Chelsea, became the blueprint for all Habitat stores to come. The store stood out with its distinct design, and was famously known for selling affordable pasta storage jars just as the pasta market began booming in the UK.

Rapid Expansion & Legacy

Habitat grew swiftly in the UK during the 1960s and even crossed borders with its first international store in Paris in 1973.

The brand's journey through the decades saw various mergers and acquisitions, including its integration with Sainsbury's Group in 2017.

Habitat's innovation extended beyond products; they even launched a mail-order system in 1966 and initiated the concept of flat-pack furniture in 1971.

Celebrating its rich history, the brand marked its 50th anniversary in 2014 by collaborating with past designers and commissioning a special logo.

Innovation & Collaboration

Habitat has always been at the forefront of modern design. Throughout its history, the brand has been renowned for its collaborations with acclaimed artists and designers, ensuring it consistently offers unique, limited-edition collections.

Under the umbrella of the Sainsbury's Group since 2017, Habitat continues its tradition of merging contemporary aesthetics with functional design, solidifying its reputation as a leading name in home furnishings.
