Made of sturdy solid wood with MDF end panels it gives them a place to sleep and a place to store toys, dress-up clothes, or perhaps shoes, clothes and extra bedding, all neatly tucked away underneath. With chunky cut-out stars, bevelled edges and a painted wood finish, this is a bed that will brighten up your child's room instantly. Comes with a medium feel Silentnight Ashley mattress (3148512). Foam free, chemical treatment free and hypoallergenic for healthier sleep, it's perfect for growing children. And being single sided, you won't need to turn it. Easy to assemble, this single bed makes great use of your space with its coordinating storage drawer. The sturdy castors make it handy to open and close, and the cut out star handles ensure there are no sticky out bits to bump into. Recommended for kids aged 4+. The Birth of Habitat
In 1964, Sir Terence Conran founded Habitat in London, aiming to bring a fresh European touch to UK home decor.
The first store, located on Fulham Road in Chelsea, became the blueprint for all Habitat stores to come. The store stood out with its distinct design, and was famously known for selling affordable pasta storage jars just as the pasta market began booming in the UK.
Rapid Expansion & Legacy
Habitat grew swiftly in the UK during the 1960s and even crossed borders with its first international store in Paris in 1973.
The brand's journey through the decades saw various mergers and acquisitions, including its integration with Sainsbury's Group in 2017.
