Description

Bring some metallic souk chic to your lounge with this hand-etched storage coffee table. A striking design, crafted from hammered aluminium with a lustrous silvered finish. Ideal for small spaces it's pure luxe on the outside, a clever storage solution on the inside. Lid off and you can stash away magazines and everyday clutter. Lid on and, voila! An ultra-glam table for drinks and nibbles.

Our Stylist Says

I love this silver side table for its sleek, contemporary look that can elevate a variety of interiors. It works particularly well in modern or minimalist spaces, where its metallic finish adds a touch of sophistication without overwhelming. It’s versatile enough to serve as a bedside table or a statement piece in a living room. Practical styling tips include pairing it with textured cushions or vases in contrasting colours to soften the metallic sheen, or placing a small lamp on top for added functionality. Keep accessories minimal to let the design shine, and it will effortlessly blend into both urban apartments and stylish, eclectic interiors.

About Habitat

Founded in 1964, Habitat are a renowned brand, and a go-to destination for modern and stylish furniture and home accessories.

The Birth of Habitat

In 1964, Sir Terence Conran founded Habitat in London, aiming to bring a fresh European touch to UK home decor.

The first store, located on Fulham Road in Chelsea, became the blueprint for all Habitat stores to come. The store stood out with its distinct design, and was famously known for selling affordable pasta storage jars just as the pasta market began booming in the UK.

Rapid Expansion & Legacy

Habitat grew swiftly in the UK during the 1960s and even crossed borders with its first international store in Paris in 1973.

The brand's journey through the decades saw various mergers and acquisitions, including its integration with Sainsbury's Group in 2017.

Habitat's innovation extended beyond products; they even launched a mail-order system in 1966 and initiated the concept of flat-pack furniture in 1971.

Celebrating its rich history, the brand marked its 50th anniversary in 2014 by collaborating with past designers and commissioning a special logo.

Innovation & Collaboration

Habitat has always been at the forefront of modern design. Throughout its history, the brand has been renowned for its collaborations with acclaimed artists and designers, ensuring it consistently offers unique, limited-edition collections.

Under the umbrella of the Sainsbury's Group since 2017, Habitat continues its tradition of merging contemporary aesthetics with functional design, solidifying its reputation as a leading name in home furnishings.
