Description

Add an industrial glow to your space with this small black steel mesh lantern candle holder. Simply add your favourite pillar candle and enjoy the effect. Designed with a handle so it's easy to move from one spot to another. Captivating Having a woven mesh design means when a candle is lit the flame creates decorative shadows.

Our Stylist Says

I love this lantern for its contemporary yet industrial vibe, making it a versatile piece that can work in both modern and rustic interiors. Its black metal finish adds a sleek touch, while the wired design offers an interesting texture that complements candles beautifully. It’s ideal for creating cosy, ambient lighting in living rooms, outdoor patios, or even hallways. Practical styling tips include pairing it with pillar candles of varying heights or clustering a few for a layered look. You can also hang it from hooks or handles, making it flexible for different settings, whether indoors or outside. Its understated design lends itself well to minimalist schemes but can also add an edge to more eclectic spaces.

About Habitat

Founded in 1964, Habitat are a renowned brand, and a go-to destination for modern and stylish furniture and home accessories.

The Birth of Habitat

In 1964, Sir Terence Conran founded Habitat in London, aiming to bring a fresh European touch to UK home decor.

The first store, located on Fulham Road in Chelsea, became the blueprint for all Habitat stores to come. The store stood out with its distinct design, and was famously known for selling affordable pasta storage jars just as the pasta market began booming in the UK.

Rapid Expansion & Legacy

Habitat grew swiftly in the UK during the 1960s and even crossed borders with its first international store in Paris in 1973.

The brand's journey through the decades saw various mergers and acquisitions, including its integration with Sainsbury's Group in 2017.

Habitat's innovation extended beyond products; they even launched a mail-order system in 1966 and initiated the concept of flat-pack furniture in 1971.

Celebrating its rich history, the brand marked its 50th anniversary in 2014 by collaborating with past designers and commissioning a special logo.

Innovation & Collaboration

Habitat has always been at the forefront of modern design. Throughout its history, the brand has been renowned for its collaborations with acclaimed artists and designers, ensuring it consistently offers unique, limited-edition collections.

Under the umbrella of the Sainsbury's Group since 2017, Habitat continues its tradition of merging contemporary aesthetics with functional design, solidifying its reputation as a leading name in home furnishings.
