Modern, minimal and smooth. Our rounded black ceramic planter is the ideal home for any small houseplant. Prettily perched on three-legs the pot brings a soothing Scandi touch to your coffee table, kitchen windowsill or sideboard. Add some lush greenery for instant freshness. Bold or neutral decor? This versatile pot fits right in. Ready to bloom?

Our Stylist Says

I love this small black ceramic pot for its clean, contemporary look that effortlessly adds a touch of sophistication to any space. Its sleek, minimalist design works well in modern interiors, from Scandinavian-inspired schemes to urban lofts, or even as a contrast piece in more eclectic settings. Practical styling tips include pairing it with a variety of greenery, such as succulents or small ferns, to keep the overall look neat and uncluttered. Its neutral colour ensures it complements rather than overstains other decorative elements, making it a versatile choice for shelf displays, windowsills, or side tables. Due to its compact size, it’s perfect for smaller plants or to act as a detail within a larger curated arrangement.

About Habitat

Founded in 1964, Habitat are a renowned brand, and a go-to destination for modern and stylish furniture and home accessories.

The Birth of Habitat

In 1964, Sir Terence Conran founded Habitat in London, aiming to bring a fresh European touch to UK home decor.

The first store, located on Fulham Road in Chelsea, became the blueprint for all Habitat stores to come. The store stood out with its distinct design, and was famously known for selling affordable pasta storage jars just as the pasta market began booming in the UK.

Rapid Expansion & Legacy

Habitat grew swiftly in the UK during the 1960s and even crossed borders with its first international store in Paris in 1973.

The brand's journey through the decades saw various mergers and acquisitions, including its integration with Sainsbury's Group in 2017.

Habitat's innovation extended beyond products; they even launched a mail-order system in 1966 and initiated the concept of flat-pack furniture in 1971.

Celebrating its rich history, the brand marked its 50th anniversary in 2014 by collaborating with past designers and commissioning a special logo.

Innovation & Collaboration

Habitat has always been at the forefront of modern design. Throughout its history, the brand has been renowned for its collaborations with acclaimed artists and designers, ensuring it consistently offers unique, limited-edition collections.

Under the umbrella of the Sainsbury's Group since 2017, Habitat continues its tradition of merging contemporary aesthetics with functional design, solidifying its reputation as a leading name in home furnishings.
