Description

Make a home comfort zone with me? I am a tactile, textured chunky knit throw, soft to handle and perfect to add a little luxury to your day. Perfect for snuggling on sofas with or take me to bed for a cuddle. My warm-toned, powdery colour makes me easy to co-ordinate and match. I'm the one you can chillax with. In 100% acrylic yarn, I am machine washable so keeping me fresh and looking good is easy.

Our Stylist Says

I love this chunky knit throw for adding cosy texture and colour to a neutral interior. It works particularly well in Scandinavian-inspired spaces, where the layered, tactile feel complements clean lines and natural materials. Draping it over a sofa or bed instantly introduces warmth and visual interest. For styling tips, try mixing it with other soft textiles like cushions or layered with a striped or patterned cushion for contrast. Its multicoloured aspect makes it versatile, serving as a standout piece in calm palettes or adding a playful touch to more vibrant rooms. Practical, tactile, and effortlessly stylish, it’s a great choice for bringing a relaxed, inviting vibe to your living space.

About Habitat

Founded in 1964, Habitat are a renowned brand, and a go-to destination for modern and stylish furniture and home accessories.

The Birth of Habitat

In 1964, Sir Terence Conran founded Habitat in London, aiming to bring a fresh European touch to UK home decor.

The first store, located on Fulham Road in Chelsea, became the blueprint for all Habitat stores to come. The store stood out with its distinct design, and was famously known for selling affordable pasta storage jars just as the pasta market began booming in the UK.

Rapid Expansion & Legacy

Habitat grew swiftly in the UK during the 1960s and even crossed borders with its first international store in Paris in 1973.

The brand's journey through the decades saw various mergers and acquisitions, including its integration with Sainsbury's Group in 2017.

Habitat's innovation extended beyond products; they even launched a mail-order system in 1966 and initiated the concept of flat-pack furniture in 1971.

Celebrating its rich history, the brand marked its 50th anniversary in 2014 by collaborating with past designers and commissioning a special logo.

Innovation & Collaboration

Habitat has always been at the forefront of modern design. Throughout its history, the brand has been renowned for its collaborations with acclaimed artists and designers, ensuring it consistently offers unique, limited-edition collections.

Under the umbrella of the Sainsbury's Group since 2017, Habitat continues its tradition of merging contemporary aesthetics with functional design, solidifying its reputation as a leading name in home furnishings.
