Description

Meet Skandi -a new concept in bedroom storage where minimalism meets display. Our two-tone wardrobe delivers double hanging, sliding drawers and open shelves - space enough for any capsule collection. Its palette of white and light wood aim to create a calm bedroom sanctuary. R&R is the order of the day.

Our Stylist Says

I really like this open wardrobe because of its versatile, Scandi-inspired look that works especially well in contemporary or minimalist interiors. The two-tone white finish adds a touch of visual interest without overpowering the space, making it a great piece for smaller bedrooms or modern living areas. Its open shelving is perfect for organising essentials or displaying accessories, while the drawers offer hidden storage to keep clutter out of sight. For styling tips, consider pairing it with light wood or neutral textiles to keep the aesthetic fresh and cohesive. It’s ideal for creating a bright, airy feel, especially when combined with clever lighting or adding a few decorative touches like woven baskets or small potted plants on the open shelves.

About Habitat

Founded in 1964, Habitat are a renowned brand, and a go-to destination for modern and stylish furniture and home accessories.

The Birth of Habitat

In 1964, Sir Terence Conran founded Habitat in London, aiming to bring a fresh European touch to UK home decor.

The first store, located on Fulham Road in Chelsea, became the blueprint for all Habitat stores to come. The store stood out with its distinct design, and was famously known for selling affordable pasta storage jars just as the pasta market began booming in the UK.

Rapid Expansion & Legacy

Habitat grew swiftly in the UK during the 1960s and even crossed borders with its first international store in Paris in 1973.

The brand's journey through the decades saw various mergers and acquisitions, including its integration with Sainsbury's Group in 2017.

Habitat's innovation extended beyond products; they even launched a mail-order system in 1966 and initiated the concept of flat-pack furniture in 1971.

Celebrating its rich history, the brand marked its 50th anniversary in 2014 by collaborating with past designers and commissioning a special logo.

Innovation & Collaboration

Habitat has always been at the forefront of modern design. Throughout its history, the brand has been renowned for its collaborations with acclaimed artists and designers, ensuring it consistently offers unique, limited-edition collections.

Under the umbrella of the Sainsbury's Group since 2017, Habitat continues its tradition of merging contemporary aesthetics with functional design, solidifying its reputation as a leading name in home furnishings.
