Description

Genuinely as soft as real Shearling but 100% faux. This is an easy way to add a luxurious home comfort to your life. And why not? Inviting and soft with au naturel looks, it brings a cosy and warm dimension to a room. Artisan meets country meets penthouse. It's your flexible fleece.

Our Stylist Says

I love this shearling throw for its cosy yet versatile appeal. Its neutral oatmeal hue makes it easy to incorporate into various colour palettes and styles, from Scandi and minimalist interiors to more eclectic schemes. It works beautifully layered over a bed for added warmth, draped over a sofa for casual comfort, or used as an inviting accent on an armchair. Practical styling tips include folding it neatly to showcase its plush texture or allowing it to slip casually over furniture for a relaxed vibe. The soft shearling material not only adds tactile richness but also introduces a hint of luxury, making it a functional yet stylish addition that elevates any living space.

About Habitat

Founded in 1964, Habitat are a renowned brand, and a go-to destination for modern and stylish furniture and home accessories.

The Birth of Habitat

In 1964, Sir Terence Conran founded Habitat in London, aiming to bring a fresh European touch to UK home decor.

The first store, located on Fulham Road in Chelsea, became the blueprint for all Habitat stores to come. The store stood out with its distinct design, and was famously known for selling affordable pasta storage jars just as the pasta market began booming in the UK.

Rapid Expansion & Legacy

Habitat grew swiftly in the UK during the 1960s and even crossed borders with its first international store in Paris in 1973.

The brand's journey through the decades saw various mergers and acquisitions, including its integration with Sainsbury's Group in 2017.

Habitat's innovation extended beyond products; they even launched a mail-order system in 1966 and initiated the concept of flat-pack furniture in 1971.

Celebrating its rich history, the brand marked its 50th anniversary in 2014 by collaborating with past designers and commissioning a special logo.

Innovation & Collaboration

Habitat has always been at the forefront of modern design. Throughout its history, the brand has been renowned for its collaborations with acclaimed artists and designers, ensuring it consistently offers unique, limited-edition collections.

Under the umbrella of the Sainsbury's Group since 2017, Habitat continues its tradition of merging contemporary aesthetics with functional design, solidifying its reputation as a leading name in home furnishings.
