Description

These beautiful solar lightbulb lanterns are a gorgeous new take on solar powered outdoor lighting. In the day they'll soak up the sun and at night they'll emit white light. Their handy hanging mechanism means that you can clip them wherever you like (as long as they catch the sun! ). They're ready to use straight out of the box, just clip them up and let the sun do the rest!

Our Stylist Says

I love these lanterns for their versatile, contemporary charm-they work equally well in rustic garden settings or modern outdoor spaces. Their solar-powered design means they’re both practical and eco-friendly, making them a smart choice for sustainable styling. They look particularly effective when hung along pergolas, around patio dining areas, or draped over garden niches for a cosy, inviting glow. To style them successfully, consider positioning in clustered or asymmetrical arrangements to create visual interest, and pair with greenery or simple outdoor furniture to enhance their understated elegance. They’re perfect for adding warm ambient light during evening gatherings or outdoor relaxations.

About Habitat

Founded in 1964, Habitat are a renowned brand, and a go-to destination for modern and stylish furniture and home accessories.

The Birth of Habitat

In 1964, Sir Terence Conran founded Habitat in London, aiming to bring a fresh European touch to UK home decor.

The first store, located on Fulham Road in Chelsea, became the blueprint for all Habitat stores to come. The store stood out with its distinct design, and was famously known for selling affordable pasta storage jars just as the pasta market began booming in the UK.

Rapid Expansion & Legacy

Habitat grew swiftly in the UK during the 1960s and even crossed borders with its first international store in Paris in 1973.

The brand's journey through the decades saw various mergers and acquisitions, including its integration with Sainsbury's Group in 2017.

Habitat's innovation extended beyond products; they even launched a mail-order system in 1966 and initiated the concept of flat-pack furniture in 1971.

Celebrating its rich history, the brand marked its 50th anniversary in 2014 by collaborating with past designers and commissioning a special logo.

Innovation & Collaboration

Habitat has always been at the forefront of modern design. Throughout its history, the brand has been renowned for its collaborations with acclaimed artists and designers, ensuring it consistently offers unique, limited-edition collections.

Under the umbrella of the Sainsbury's Group since 2017, Habitat continues its tradition of merging contemporary aesthetics with functional design, solidifying its reputation as a leading name in home furnishings.
