Description

Handy open storage boxes are just the ticket for storing seasonal clothes, shoes, accessories and linens. These 4 square boxes in popping mustard are designed to fit perfectly with the Habitat Squares storage unit, but you can use them just about anywhere. Store them in your wardrobe, under your bed, in a divan drawer or elsewhere. They come flat packed, so you can simply tuck them away when not in use.

Our Stylist Says

I love these mustard dash cubes for their versatility and tactile appeal. They work particularly well in contemporary and eclectic interiors, adding a pop of colour without overwhelming the space. Their stackable design makes them practical for storage, whether in living rooms, bedrooms, or even home offices, helping to keep surfaces organised and clutter-free. For styling tips, consider grouping them with complementary baskets or placing them on open shelving to create visual interest. They also serve well as decorative elements on sideboards or coffee tables, especially when used to contain throws, magazines, or smaller accessories, making them both functional and stylish in casual or relaxed settings.

About Habitat

Founded in 1964, Habitat are a renowned brand, and a go-to destination for modern and stylish furniture and home accessories.

The Birth of Habitat

In 1964, Sir Terence Conran founded Habitat in London, aiming to bring a fresh European touch to UK home decor.

The first store, located on Fulham Road in Chelsea, became the blueprint for all Habitat stores to come. The store stood out with its distinct design, and was famously known for selling affordable pasta storage jars just as the pasta market began booming in the UK.

Rapid Expansion & Legacy

Habitat grew swiftly in the UK during the 1960s and even crossed borders with its first international store in Paris in 1973.

The brand's journey through the decades saw various mergers and acquisitions, including its integration with Sainsbury's Group in 2017.

Habitat's innovation extended beyond products; they even launched a mail-order system in 1966 and initiated the concept of flat-pack furniture in 1971.

Celebrating its rich history, the brand marked its 50th anniversary in 2014 by collaborating with past designers and commissioning a special logo.

Innovation & Collaboration

Habitat has always been at the forefront of modern design. Throughout its history, the brand has been renowned for its collaborations with acclaimed artists and designers, ensuring it consistently offers unique, limited-edition collections.

Under the umbrella of the Sainsbury's Group since 2017, Habitat continues its tradition of merging contemporary aesthetics with functional design, solidifying its reputation as a leading name in home furnishings.
