Description

Keep your space neat and tidy with our set of 2 wooden storage containers. Crafted from slatted pine, they'll bring a touch of natural, country-style to your lounge, office or kitchen. Games, toys or your favourite magazines? Gather them up and pop inside for safe keeping. Moving things around? The two cut-out handles make it so easy. Here's to ticking all the boxes.

Our Stylist Says

I love these slatted boxes for their simple, natural aesthetic and versatility. Their pine finish works well in both modern and rustic interiors, adding a hint of warmth and texture without feeling heavy. They’re perfect for organising small household items, maintaining a tidy space while adding visual interest. Practical styling tips include stacking or grouping them together to create customised storage solutions-try using one for magazines or textiles, and the other for smaller items or knick-knacks. They also work beautifully as decorative containers on open shelves or coffee tables, especially when paired with plants or other natural materials. The handles make them easy to move, making them as functional as they are stylish.

About Habitat

Founded in 1964, Habitat are a renowned brand, and a go-to destination for modern and stylish furniture and home accessories.

The Birth of Habitat

In 1964, Sir Terence Conran founded Habitat in London, aiming to bring a fresh European touch to UK home decor.

The first store, located on Fulham Road in Chelsea, became the blueprint for all Habitat stores to come. The store stood out with its distinct design, and was famously known for selling affordable pasta storage jars just as the pasta market began booming in the UK.

Rapid Expansion & Legacy

Habitat grew swiftly in the UK during the 1960s and even crossed borders with its first international store in Paris in 1973.

The brand's journey through the decades saw various mergers and acquisitions, including its integration with Sainsbury's Group in 2017.

Habitat's innovation extended beyond products; they even launched a mail-order system in 1966 and initiated the concept of flat-pack furniture in 1971.

Celebrating its rich history, the brand marked its 50th anniversary in 2014 by collaborating with past designers and commissioning a special logo.

Innovation & Collaboration

Habitat has always been at the forefront of modern design. Throughout its history, the brand has been renowned for its collaborations with acclaimed artists and designers, ensuring it consistently offers unique, limited-edition collections.

Under the umbrella of the Sainsbury's Group since 2017, Habitat continues its tradition of merging contemporary aesthetics with functional design, solidifying its reputation as a leading name in home furnishings.
