Description

Natural and neat. This duo of cool, country boxes help make tidying up a treat. Crafted with a woven rattan design that's bang on trend. Made to be stacked, displayed on shelves or neatly tucked away. They're great for keeping living rooms or bathrooms clear of clutter. Fill with toys, magazines, linens or towels, the solid wood frame doesn't just look good, it's built to last too. So pretty, so practical.

Our Stylist Says

I love this set of rattan boxes because of their versatile, natural appeal-a perfect neutral that complements both modern and boho interiors. They work really well for adding texture and warmth to shelving units or side tables, while also offering practical storage solutions. I’d recommend styling them in living rooms for organising throws or magazines, or in bathrooms for storing small towels or toiletries. To keep the look fresh, stack or layer them with other textured items like woven baskets or ceramic accessories, and they work especially well in light-filled spaces where their natural finish can really shine.

About Habitat

Founded in 1964, Habitat are a renowned brand, and a go-to destination for modern and stylish furniture and home accessories.

The Birth of Habitat

In 1964, Sir Terence Conran founded Habitat in London, aiming to bring a fresh European touch to UK home decor.

The first store, located on Fulham Road in Chelsea, became the blueprint for all Habitat stores to come. The store stood out with its distinct design, and was famously known for selling affordable pasta storage jars just as the pasta market began booming in the UK.

Rapid Expansion & Legacy

Habitat grew swiftly in the UK during the 1960s and even crossed borders with its first international store in Paris in 1973.

The brand's journey through the decades saw various mergers and acquisitions, including its integration with Sainsbury's Group in 2017.

Habitat's innovation extended beyond products; they even launched a mail-order system in 1966 and initiated the concept of flat-pack furniture in 1971.

Celebrating its rich history, the brand marked its 50th anniversary in 2014 by collaborating with past designers and commissioning a special logo.

Innovation & Collaboration

Habitat has always been at the forefront of modern design. Throughout its history, the brand has been renowned for its collaborations with acclaimed artists and designers, ensuring it consistently offers unique, limited-edition collections.

Under the umbrella of the Sainsbury's Group since 2017, Habitat continues its tradition of merging contemporary aesthetics with functional design, solidifying its reputation as a leading name in home furnishings.
