Description

Give your garden or patio a facelift with our vibrant outdoor rug. Inspired by Scandi colourways and design, it's a simple way to add to the ambience of your alfresco entertaining scene. Size L180 , 120cm. Weight 0.9kg. Cannot be cut to size. Made in China.

Our Stylist Says

I love this rug because its clean, modern Scandi pattern adds a fresh, contemporary touch to outdoor spaces. It works well in laid-back terraces, patios, or even a sunlit balcony, bringing a hint of cosy Scandinavian-inspired style outside. When styling, keep it simple-pair it with natural materials like wood or rattan furniture, and complement the colour palette with cushions or accessories in matching or coordinating shades. Practical tip: because it’s designed for outdoor use, it’s low-maintenance and durable, making it ideal for high-traffic areas or spaces exposed to the elements. Just ensure it’s properly secured to prevent slipping, and it’ll brighten up any outdoor area all year round.

About Habitat

Founded in 1964, Habitat are a renowned brand, and a go-to destination for modern and stylish furniture and home accessories.

The Birth of Habitat

In 1964, Sir Terence Conran founded Habitat in London, aiming to bring a fresh European touch to UK home decor.

The first store, located on Fulham Road in Chelsea, became the blueprint for all Habitat stores to come. The store stood out with its distinct design, and was famously known for selling affordable pasta storage jars just as the pasta market began booming in the UK.

Rapid Expansion & Legacy

Habitat grew swiftly in the UK during the 1960s and even crossed borders with its first international store in Paris in 1973.

The brand's journey through the decades saw various mergers and acquisitions, including its integration with Sainsbury's Group in 2017.

Habitat's innovation extended beyond products; they even launched a mail-order system in 1966 and initiated the concept of flat-pack furniture in 1971.

Celebrating its rich history, the brand marked its 50th anniversary in 2014 by collaborating with past designers and commissioning a special logo.

Innovation & Collaboration

Habitat has always been at the forefront of modern design. Throughout its history, the brand has been renowned for its collaborations with acclaimed artists and designers, ensuring it consistently offers unique, limited-edition collections.

Under the umbrella of the Sainsbury's Group since 2017, Habitat continues its tradition of merging contemporary aesthetics with functional design, solidifying its reputation as a leading name in home furnishings.
