Designed for comfort, but with a glamorous chic vibe to brighten up your room, this bean bag is great for chilling out, putting your feet up or just kicking back with a book. A stunning accessory for any room, just move it around easily with the loop handle and make yourself comfy wherever you are. Our products are designed with kids in mind and are built to cope with everyday use. Tested to the latest safety regulations, they comply with British and European safety standards.

Our Stylist Says

I love the Habitat rose gold polka dot bean bag for its playful yet stylish touch, making it a versatile addition to a child’s space. Its subtle metallic finish adds a contemporary edge that works well in modern or eclectic interiors, while the polka dots keep it fun and engaging. Practical styling tips include pairing it with neutral or pastel tones for a soft, balanced look, or adding coordinating accessories like cushions or throws in similar colours to create a cohesive space. Its lightweight design makes it easy to move around, providing flexible seating for reading corners, play areas, or bedrooms. Overall, it’s a cosy and trendy piece that injects personality into a child's room without overwhelming the decor.

About Habitat

Founded in 1964, Habitat are a renowned brand, and a go-to destination for modern and stylish furniture and home accessories.

The Birth of Habitat

In 1964, Sir Terence Conran founded Habitat in London, aiming to bring a fresh European touch to UK home decor.

The first store, located on Fulham Road in Chelsea, became the blueprint for all Habitat stores to come. The store stood out with its distinct design, and was famously known for selling affordable pasta storage jars just as the pasta market began booming in the UK.

Rapid Expansion & Legacy

Habitat grew swiftly in the UK during the 1960s and even crossed borders with its first international store in Paris in 1973.

The brand's journey through the decades saw various mergers and acquisitions, including its integration with Sainsbury's Group in 2017.

Habitat's innovation extended beyond products; they even launched a mail-order system in 1966 and initiated the concept of flat-pack furniture in 1971.

Celebrating its rich history, the brand marked its 50th anniversary in 2014 by collaborating with past designers and commissioning a special logo.

Innovation & Collaboration

Habitat has always been at the forefront of modern design. Throughout its history, the brand has been renowned for its collaborations with acclaimed artists and designers, ensuring it consistently offers unique, limited-edition collections.

Under the umbrella of the Sainsbury's Group since 2017, Habitat continues its tradition of merging contemporary aesthetics with functional design, solidifying its reputation as a leading name in home furnishings.
