Description

With a curved acacia wood slatted top and grey powder coated metal frame to enhance the light in your garden, this lounger has a linear profile and soft, elegant edges. A sculptural design, this lounger is hard-wearing and is perfect for kicking back and reading your favourite book on.

Our Stylist Says

I love how this sun lounger combines sleek modern design with natural materials, making it a versatile piece for both contemporary and minimalist gardens. Its curved shape and slatted wooden slats evoke a relaxed, sun-drenched vibe, perfect for lounging in style. It works particularly well in pared-back, neutral gardens or outdoor spaces with metallic or wooden accents. To style it effectively, consider adding some neutral or patterned cushions for extra comfort and visual interest, and position it near other outdoor furniture to create a cohesive lounging area. A simple, understated base keeps the focus on the lounger’s clean lines, making it a practical yet stylish choice for summer days.

About Habitat

Founded in 1964, Habitat are a renowned brand, and a go-to destination for modern and stylish furniture and home accessories.

The Birth of Habitat

In 1964, Sir Terence Conran founded Habitat in London, aiming to bring a fresh European touch to UK home decor.

The first store, located on Fulham Road in Chelsea, became the blueprint for all Habitat stores to come. The store stood out with its distinct design, and was famously known for selling affordable pasta storage jars just as the pasta market began booming in the UK.

Rapid Expansion & Legacy

Habitat grew swiftly in the UK during the 1960s and even crossed borders with its first international store in Paris in 1973.

The brand's journey through the decades saw various mergers and acquisitions, including its integration with Sainsbury's Group in 2017.

Habitat's innovation extended beyond products; they even launched a mail-order system in 1966 and initiated the concept of flat-pack furniture in 1971.

Celebrating its rich history, the brand marked its 50th anniversary in 2014 by collaborating with past designers and commissioning a special logo.

Innovation & Collaboration

Habitat has always been at the forefront of modern design. Throughout its history, the brand has been renowned for its collaborations with acclaimed artists and designers, ensuring it consistently offers unique, limited-edition collections.

Under the umbrella of the Sainsbury's Group since 2017, Habitat continues its tradition of merging contemporary aesthetics with functional design, solidifying its reputation as a leading name in home furnishings.
