Description

Who's for a sleepover? It's easy to add a spare bed in your kid's bedroom with our sleek but sturdy Rico bunk bed. Space for their bestest friend to stay over, and great for siblings 6+ years who share a room too. Made of solid FSC wood mixed with MDF and painted white. Two comfy, anti-allergy mattresses are included, and they don't need turning so are easy to care for. Assembling the bunk bed is a breeze and the in-built ladder makes access to the top bunk easy. There's space under the bottom bunk for toy or shoe storage too. Bags the top bunk.

Our Stylist Says

I love this bunk bed for its clean, simple design and versatile white finish, which makes it easy to integrate into a variety of children’s rooms. It works particularly well in small or shared bedrooms, maximising space without sacrificing comfort. When styling, consider adding colourful or patterned bed linens to inject personality, and use wall decals or playful accessories to create a lively, inviting environment. Practical tips include layering with soft, seasonal throws for snugness and adding under-bed storage or organisers to optimise space. Overall, it's a practical choice that blends functionality with understated style, making it a flexible foundation for any child’s room decor.

About Habitat

Founded in 1964, Habitat are a renowned brand, and a go-to destination for modern and stylish furniture and home accessories.

The Birth of Habitat

In 1964, Sir Terence Conran founded Habitat in London, aiming to bring a fresh European touch to UK home decor.

The first store, located on Fulham Road in Chelsea, became the blueprint for all Habitat stores to come. The store stood out with its distinct design, and was famously known for selling affordable pasta storage jars just as the pasta market began booming in the UK.

Rapid Expansion & Legacy

Habitat grew swiftly in the UK during the 1960s and even crossed borders with its first international store in Paris in 1973.

The brand's journey through the decades saw various mergers and acquisitions, including its integration with Sainsbury's Group in 2017.

Habitat's innovation extended beyond products; they even launched a mail-order system in 1966 and initiated the concept of flat-pack furniture in 1971.

Celebrating its rich history, the brand marked its 50th anniversary in 2014 by collaborating with past designers and commissioning a special logo.

Innovation & Collaboration

Habitat has always been at the forefront of modern design. Throughout its history, the brand has been renowned for its collaborations with acclaimed artists and designers, ensuring it consistently offers unique, limited-edition collections.

Under the umbrella of the Sainsbury's Group since 2017, Habitat continues its tradition of merging contemporary aesthetics with functional design, solidifying its reputation as a leading name in home furnishings.
