Description

New armchair, no waiting. Designed for modern living, the Habitat Remi armchair is a smart solution for compact spaces. It comes in one box, so you can pick it up from the store and take it home straightaway. This chair in a box makes armchair shopping a stress-free experience. There's no need to wait in for delivery and you won't need to worry about it fitting through the doorway or hallway.

Our Stylist Says

The teal armchair is a great statement piece that adds colour and personality to a variety of interiors. I love how its compact yet comfortable design makes it suitable for both smaller living rooms and cosy reading nooks. It works particularly well in modern, retro-inspired or eclectic schemes, where its bold hue can either be a focal point or balanced with softer neutrals. For styling tips, consider pairing it with plush cushions in complementary shades or textured throws to enhance comfort. The natural wood legs add warmth and a touch of Scandinavian influence, making it versatile enough to fit into contemporary settings or more traditional spaces that embrace a splash of colour. Overall, it’s a practical, stylish choice for injecting vibrancy into your home.

About Habitat

Founded in 1964, Habitat are a renowned brand, and a go-to destination for modern and stylish furniture and home accessories.

The Birth of Habitat

In 1964, Sir Terence Conran founded Habitat in London, aiming to bring a fresh European touch to UK home decor.

The first store, located on Fulham Road in Chelsea, became the blueprint for all Habitat stores to come. The store stood out with its distinct design, and was famously known for selling affordable pasta storage jars just as the pasta market began booming in the UK.

Rapid Expansion & Legacy

Habitat grew swiftly in the UK during the 1960s and even crossed borders with its first international store in Paris in 1973.

The brand's journey through the decades saw various mergers and acquisitions, including its integration with Sainsbury's Group in 2017.

Habitat's innovation extended beyond products; they even launched a mail-order system in 1966 and initiated the concept of flat-pack furniture in 1971.

Celebrating its rich history, the brand marked its 50th anniversary in 2014 by collaborating with past designers and commissioning a special logo.

Innovation & Collaboration

Habitat has always been at the forefront of modern design. Throughout its history, the brand has been renowned for its collaborations with acclaimed artists and designers, ensuring it consistently offers unique, limited-edition collections.

Under the umbrella of the Sainsbury's Group since 2017, Habitat continues its tradition of merging contemporary aesthetics with functional design, solidifying its reputation as a leading name in home furnishings.
