Description

Founded in 2015 by graphic designer and animator James Earnshaw, Reign & Hall creates bold, minimalist prints with an emphasis on typography. Led by modernist design principles, Earnshaw blends current themes with mid-century style, painstakingly researching everything, from fonts to recreating old printing techniques, which give his work a feeling of authenticity. He's currently hard at work expanding his collection from his studio in Suffolk, England – always looking, always learning. Overall size H70, W50,. Unframed print.

Our Stylist Says

I love this print for its bold, graphic statement and clean lines, making it a versatile piece that can suit various contemporary interiors. It works particularly well in modern or minimalist spaces, adding a pop of colour and visual interest without overwhelming the room. For styling, consider pairing it with neutral tones or other artwork with complementary colours to create a cohesive look. It can stand alone as a focal point or be grouped with other prints for a curated gallery wall. Practical tip: hang it at eye level in a well-lit spot to showcase its striking design and make it a conversation starter in your living room or hallway.

About Habitat

Founded in 1964, Habitat are a renowned brand, and a go-to destination for modern and stylish furniture and home accessories.

The Birth of Habitat

In 1964, Sir Terence Conran founded Habitat in London, aiming to bring a fresh European touch to UK home decor.

The first store, located on Fulham Road in Chelsea, became the blueprint for all Habitat stores to come. The store stood out with its distinct design, and was famously known for selling affordable pasta storage jars just as the pasta market began booming in the UK.

Rapid Expansion & Legacy

Habitat grew swiftly in the UK during the 1960s and even crossed borders with its first international store in Paris in 1973.

The brand's journey through the decades saw various mergers and acquisitions, including its integration with Sainsbury's Group in 2017.

Habitat's innovation extended beyond products; they even launched a mail-order system in 1966 and initiated the concept of flat-pack furniture in 1971.

Celebrating its rich history, the brand marked its 50th anniversary in 2014 by collaborating with past designers and commissioning a special logo.

Innovation & Collaboration

Habitat has always been at the forefront of modern design. Throughout its history, the brand has been renowned for its collaborations with acclaimed artists and designers, ensuring it consistently offers unique, limited-edition collections.

Under the umbrella of the Sainsbury's Group since 2017, Habitat continues its tradition of merging contemporary aesthetics with functional design, solidifying its reputation as a leading name in home furnishings.
