This understated and timeless Radius oak 135cm double bed frame is beautifully crafted from lacquered solid oak and oak veneer and features rounded corners, joined in traditional methods. The bridle joint construction is a carpenter's joint that allows for a corner connection that is very strong in all directions and needs no additional bracing. The Birth of Habitat
In 1964, Sir Terence Conran founded Habitat in London, aiming to bring a fresh European touch to UK home decor.
The first store, located on Fulham Road in Chelsea, became the blueprint for all Habitat stores to come. The store stood out with its distinct design, and was famously known for selling affordable pasta storage jars just as the pasta market began booming in the UK.

Habitat grew swiftly in the UK during the 1960s and even crossed borders with its first international store in Paris in 1973.
