Description

The understated and timeless Radius 3 door oak sideboard with recessed handles is beautifully crafted from lacquered solid oak and oak veneer. The sideboard's rounded corners are joined with traditional bridle joints, a carpenter's joint that allows for a corner connection that is strong in all directions and needs no additional bracing. Part of the Radius collection. Made from oak and oak veneer with a wood finish. Size H 86, W 130.4, D49cm. 3 doors. 4 adjustable shelves. Self-assembly - 2 people recommended. If this product is over 60cm high it must be securely attached to the wall to prevent overturning.

Our Stylist Says

I really like this sideboard - its simple, clean lines and natural oak finish make it a versatile piece that complements many interior styles, from Scandi minimalism to rustic charm. It’s perfect for use in both dining rooms and living spaces, offering practical storage without overwhelming the room’s aesthetic. For styling, I recommend keeping accessories minimal - perhaps a set of ceramic vases or a small statement lamp on top - to highlight its natural grain. Practical tips include using the interior shelves for tableware or linens, and pairing it with contrasting textures or colours elsewhere in the room to create visual interest. Overall, it’s a timeless piece that combines practicality with understated good looks.

About Habitat

Founded in 1964, Habitat are a renowned brand, and a go-to destination for modern and stylish furniture and home accessories.

The Birth of Habitat

In 1964, Sir Terence Conran founded Habitat in London, aiming to bring a fresh European touch to UK home decor.

The first store, located on Fulham Road in Chelsea, became the blueprint for all Habitat stores to come. The store stood out with its distinct design, and was famously known for selling affordable pasta storage jars just as the pasta market began booming in the UK.

Rapid Expansion & Legacy

Habitat grew swiftly in the UK during the 1960s and even crossed borders with its first international store in Paris in 1973.

The brand's journey through the decades saw various mergers and acquisitions, including its integration with Sainsbury's Group in 2017.

Habitat's innovation extended beyond products; they even launched a mail-order system in 1966 and initiated the concept of flat-pack furniture in 1971.

Celebrating its rich history, the brand marked its 50th anniversary in 2014 by collaborating with past designers and commissioning a special logo.

Innovation & Collaboration

Habitat has always been at the forefront of modern design. Throughout its history, the brand has been renowned for its collaborations with acclaimed artists and designers, ensuring it consistently offers unique, limited-edition collections.

Under the umbrella of the Sainsbury's Group since 2017, Habitat continues its tradition of merging contemporary aesthetics with functional design, solidifying its reputation as a leading name in home furnishings.
