Description

Enjoy beautiful flameless tapered candles this Christmas. Made to look like real wax, you get all of the ambience and effect, with non of the danger. This set of 2, can be used in existing candle holders or set into a table centrepiece or mantel garland. Just lovely. Paraffin wax. Size H24.5, Diameter 2.2cm.

Our Stylist Says

I love these candles because they offer a low-maintenance, safe alternative to traditional wax candles while still providing a warm, flickering glow. They work really well in contemporary, minimalist, or even rustic interiors - perfect for adding ambient lighting without the fuss of dripping wax. For styling, try grouping them on a dining table or sideboard to create a relaxed yet polished look, or use them as centrepieces in a mix of heights for visual interest. They also look great in candleholders or alongside greenery and holiday decor, making them versatile for all seasons. Practical tip: incorporate the switchable aspect to switch up the mood easily without worrying about wax drips or the need to keep replacing candles.

About Habitat

Founded in 1964, Habitat are a renowned brand, and a go-to destination for modern and stylish furniture and home accessories.

The Birth of Habitat

In 1964, Sir Terence Conran founded Habitat in London, aiming to bring a fresh European touch to UK home decor.

The first store, located on Fulham Road in Chelsea, became the blueprint for all Habitat stores to come. The store stood out with its distinct design, and was famously known for selling affordable pasta storage jars just as the pasta market began booming in the UK.

Rapid Expansion & Legacy

Habitat grew swiftly in the UK during the 1960s and even crossed borders with its first international store in Paris in 1973.

The brand's journey through the decades saw various mergers and acquisitions, including its integration with Sainsbury's Group in 2017.

Habitat's innovation extended beyond products; they even launched a mail-order system in 1966 and initiated the concept of flat-pack furniture in 1971.

Celebrating its rich history, the brand marked its 50th anniversary in 2014 by collaborating with past designers and commissioning a special logo.

Innovation & Collaboration

Habitat has always been at the forefront of modern design. Throughout its history, the brand has been renowned for its collaborations with acclaimed artists and designers, ensuring it consistently offers unique, limited-edition collections.

Under the umbrella of the Sainsbury's Group since 2017, Habitat continues its tradition of merging contemporary aesthetics with functional design, solidifying its reputation as a leading name in home furnishings.
