Description

Made in Italy from solid wood, the Ontario white rectangular wall mirror is a clean-lined, contemporary design. An original Habitat design, this mirror has a matt white finish and will complement a variety of interiors. Place Ontario in a bedroom or hallway, allowing you to check your outfit before leaving the house or over a mantlepiece to truly open up the room. Ontario sits 1.5cm from the wall and the width of the frame is 2cm. Part of the Ontario range, a smaller wall mirror is available alongside various coloured wall frames.

Our Stylist Says

The Habitat Ontario White Rectangular Wall Mirror is a versatile piece that works well in a range of interiors, from modern minimal to classic schemes. Its clean, simple lines and white frame add a crisp, fresh touch, making it ideal for brighten hallway spaces, cosy bedrooms, or even above a console table. I love using this mirror to enhance natural light, creating a sense of space and openness without overwhelming the décor. For styling tips, try pairing it with subtle colour palettes or contrasting textures like wood or metals to highlight its understated elegance. Mount it at eye level for practical everyday use or use it as a backdrop to other decorative pieces for a layered look.

About Habitat

Founded in 1964, Habitat are a renowned brand, and a go-to destination for modern and stylish furniture and home accessories.

The Birth of Habitat

In 1964, Sir Terence Conran founded Habitat in London, aiming to bring a fresh European touch to UK home decor.

The first store, located on Fulham Road in Chelsea, became the blueprint for all Habitat stores to come. The store stood out with its distinct design, and was famously known for selling affordable pasta storage jars just as the pasta market began booming in the UK.

Rapid Expansion & Legacy

Habitat grew swiftly in the UK during the 1960s and even crossed borders with its first international store in Paris in 1973.

The brand's journey through the decades saw various mergers and acquisitions, including its integration with Sainsbury's Group in 2017.

Habitat's innovation extended beyond products; they even launched a mail-order system in 1966 and initiated the concept of flat-pack furniture in 1971.

Celebrating its rich history, the brand marked its 50th anniversary in 2014 by collaborating with past designers and commissioning a special logo.

Innovation & Collaboration

Habitat has always been at the forefront of modern design. Throughout its history, the brand has been renowned for its collaborations with acclaimed artists and designers, ensuring it consistently offers unique, limited-edition collections.

Under the umbrella of the Sainsbury's Group since 2017, Habitat continues its tradition of merging contemporary aesthetics with functional design, solidifying its reputation as a leading name in home furnishings.
