Description

Ombre meets organic. With its natural shape and bold colours, this vase creates quite an impact. A blend of brilliant blue and ochre, it's crafted from glass with a curvaceous silhouette. For instant oomph, fill it with dried stems or freshly picked flowers. Or make a solo statement on your coffee table. This standout piece holds its own.

Our Stylist Says

I love this blue ombre glass vase for its versatile colour gradient and elegant shape, which can complement both contemporary and eclectic interiors. It works particularly well in minimalist schemes, where its colour can add a subtle pop of colour without overwhelming the space. For practical styling, try pairing it with simple, fresh flowers or greenery for a natural touch, or even display it on its own to highlight its vibrant tones and sleek silhouette. It’s ideal on sideboards, shelves, or as a centrepiece on a dining table, and its colours can be enhanced by natural or warm lighting. Overall, it’s a stunning piece that offers a modern twist on classic glassware and can easily elevate a variety of interior styles.

About Habitat

Founded in 1964, Habitat are a renowned brand, and a go-to destination for modern and stylish furniture and home accessories.

The Birth of Habitat

In 1964, Sir Terence Conran founded Habitat in London, aiming to bring a fresh European touch to UK home decor.

The first store, located on Fulham Road in Chelsea, became the blueprint for all Habitat stores to come. The store stood out with its distinct design, and was famously known for selling affordable pasta storage jars just as the pasta market began booming in the UK.

Rapid Expansion & Legacy

Habitat grew swiftly in the UK during the 1960s and even crossed borders with its first international store in Paris in 1973.

The brand's journey through the decades saw various mergers and acquisitions, including its integration with Sainsbury's Group in 2017.

Habitat's innovation extended beyond products; they even launched a mail-order system in 1966 and initiated the concept of flat-pack furniture in 1971.

Celebrating its rich history, the brand marked its 50th anniversary in 2014 by collaborating with past designers and commissioning a special logo.

Innovation & Collaboration

Habitat has always been at the forefront of modern design. Throughout its history, the brand has been renowned for its collaborations with acclaimed artists and designers, ensuring it consistently offers unique, limited-edition collections.

Under the umbrella of the Sainsbury's Group since 2017, Habitat continues its tradition of merging contemporary aesthetics with functional design, solidifying its reputation as a leading name in home furnishings.
