The sleek metal and dark oak finish has an industrial edge. The L-shape construction gives masses of leg room and plenty of shelf space. Ideal for storing files or chargers. Our Stylist Says

The Habitat Nyle Corner Desk is a practical choice that fits well in modern and contemporary interiors, especially those with a minimalist or industrial aesthetic. I love how the combination of fresh oak and black metal lends it a clean, streamlined look, making it versatile for various decor styles. It works particularly well in home offices where space efficiency is key, thanks to its corner design that maximises available area. To style it, consider adding a few organisational accessories like sleek trays or potted plants to soften the metal with natural touches. Pairing it with a comfortable, understated chair will allow the desk to blend seamlessly into your space, while still providing functionality and style.

About Habitat

Founded in 1964, Habitat are a renowned brand, and a go-to destination for modern and stylish furniture and home accessories.

The Birth of Habitat

In 1964, Sir Terence Conran founded Habitat in London, aiming to bring a fresh European touch to UK home decor.

The first store, located on Fulham Road in Chelsea, became the blueprint for all Habitat stores to come. The store stood out with its distinct design, and was famously known for selling affordable pasta storage jars just as the pasta market began booming in the UK.

Rapid Expansion & Legacy

Habitat grew swiftly in the UK during the 1960s and even crossed borders with its first international store in Paris in 1973.

The brand's journey through the decades saw various mergers and acquisitions, including its integration with Sainsbury's Group in 2017.

Habitat's innovation extended beyond products; they even launched a mail-order system in 1966 and initiated the concept of flat-pack furniture in 1971.

Celebrating its rich history, the brand marked its 50th anniversary in 2014 by collaborating with past designers and commissioning a special logo.

Innovation & Collaboration

Habitat has always been at the forefront of modern design. Throughout its history, the brand has been renowned for its collaborations with acclaimed artists and designers, ensuring it consistently offers unique, limited-edition collections.

Under the umbrella of the Sainsbury's Group since 2017, Habitat continues its tradition of merging contemporary aesthetics with functional design, solidifying its reputation as a leading name in home furnishings.
