Description

Cool waves, dude. Bring the calming vibes of the sea into your home with our stylish multicoloured Wave Planter. With subtle tones of blue, mint and blush pink and a wavy, carved top, this pot gives your plants somewhere chilled to call home. Get two or three and line them up to create a relaxing display or place next to solid coloured planters to make it's unique design pop. However you choose to curate it, our Wave Planter will make a colourful, calming splash in your home. Breathe in, breathe out.

Our Stylist Says

I love this wave-shaped planter for its playful yet modern design, making it a great statement piece in both neutral and colourful interiors. Its multicoloured stripes add a touch of vibrancy without overpowering a space-perfect for contemporary living rooms, kitchens, or brightening up a home office. Practical styling tips include pairing it with simple foliage like snake plants or succulents to let the colours stand out, or using it as a centrepiece on a sideboard or shelving. Its shape and colour palette make it versatile enough to coordinate with minimal or eclectic decor styles, adding a fresh, fun element to any space.

About Habitat

Founded in 1964, Habitat are a renowned brand, and a go-to destination for modern and stylish furniture and home accessories.

The Birth of Habitat

In 1964, Sir Terence Conran founded Habitat in London, aiming to bring a fresh European touch to UK home decor.

The first store, located on Fulham Road in Chelsea, became the blueprint for all Habitat stores to come. The store stood out with its distinct design, and was famously known for selling affordable pasta storage jars just as the pasta market began booming in the UK.

Rapid Expansion & Legacy

Habitat grew swiftly in the UK during the 1960s and even crossed borders with its first international store in Paris in 1973.

The brand's journey through the decades saw various mergers and acquisitions, including its integration with Sainsbury's Group in 2017.

Habitat's innovation extended beyond products; they even launched a mail-order system in 1966 and initiated the concept of flat-pack furniture in 1971.

Celebrating its rich history, the brand marked its 50th anniversary in 2014 by collaborating with past designers and commissioning a special logo.

Innovation & Collaboration

Habitat has always been at the forefront of modern design. Throughout its history, the brand has been renowned for its collaborations with acclaimed artists and designers, ensuring it consistently offers unique, limited-edition collections.

Under the umbrella of the Sainsbury's Group since 2017, Habitat continues its tradition of merging contemporary aesthetics with functional design, solidifying its reputation as a leading name in home furnishings.
