Description

Snuggle in, Scandi style. This is Nico, our two-tone kids bed frame. In bright white and natural pine, it's simple, modern and versatile. A large, curved headboard and solid wood legs bring a fresh, contemporary feel to your youngster's bedroom. Weight tested to 100kg, it's built for bouncing. And sprung wooden slats make for a good night's rest, just add a mattress. Sweet dreams, sleepyhead.

Our Stylist Says

I love the Habitat Nico single bed frame because of its clean, simple design that works well in both contemporary and Scandi-inspired interiors. The white finish keeps the space feeling fresh and airy, while the pine accents add a touch of warmth and natural charm. It’s versatile enough to suit a child’s bedroom or a guest room, and pairs nicely with layered bedding and colourful cushions for a cosy, personalised look. For styling, consider adding a textured throw or a row of decorative pillows to soften the straightforward frame, and keep accessories minimal on the bedside table to maintain its tidy, uncluttered aesthetic. Its light wood tone also complements black metal or rattan accents for a layered, textured interior.

About Habitat

Founded in 1964, Habitat are a renowned brand, and a go-to destination for modern and stylish furniture and home accessories.

The Birth of Habitat

In 1964, Sir Terence Conran founded Habitat in London, aiming to bring a fresh European touch to UK home decor.

The first store, located on Fulham Road in Chelsea, became the blueprint for all Habitat stores to come. The store stood out with its distinct design, and was famously known for selling affordable pasta storage jars just as the pasta market began booming in the UK.

Rapid Expansion & Legacy

Habitat grew swiftly in the UK during the 1960s and even crossed borders with its first international store in Paris in 1973.

The brand's journey through the decades saw various mergers and acquisitions, including its integration with Sainsbury's Group in 2017.

Habitat's innovation extended beyond products; they even launched a mail-order system in 1966 and initiated the concept of flat-pack furniture in 1971.

Celebrating its rich history, the brand marked its 50th anniversary in 2014 by collaborating with past designers and commissioning a special logo.

Innovation & Collaboration

Habitat has always been at the forefront of modern design. Throughout its history, the brand has been renowned for its collaborations with acclaimed artists and designers, ensuring it consistently offers unique, limited-edition collections.

Under the umbrella of the Sainsbury's Group since 2017, Habitat continues its tradition of merging contemporary aesthetics with functional design, solidifying its reputation as a leading name in home furnishings.
