Description

What's this? A nest of tables that doesn't cost the earth but still looks great? That's right. Our Habitat nest boasts smart good looks but with a small price tag. Perfect hey? In an oak-effect finish, it's no nonsense style makes this set versatile enough to suit any lounge. Rest your cuppa, rest your book or, even, rest your feet on these sturdy little numbers.

Our Stylist Says

I really like this nest of two tables because of its versatility and classic oak effect finish, which makes it suitable for a wide range of interiors. It works particularly well in neutral, scandi-inspired spaces or to bring a warm, natural touch to modern and contemporary setups. The layered design is practical, allowing you to tuck away the smaller table when not in use, while providing extra surface area when needed. For styling, I recommend using the larger table for daily essentials or decorative items, and the smaller one as an occasional surface for a lamp or plant. It’s perfect for compact spaces, acting as both a coffee table and additional surface for guests.

About Habitat

Founded in 1964, Habitat are a renowned brand, and a go-to destination for modern and stylish furniture and home accessories.

The Birth of Habitat

In 1964, Sir Terence Conran founded Habitat in London, aiming to bring a fresh European touch to UK home decor.

The first store, located on Fulham Road in Chelsea, became the blueprint for all Habitat stores to come. The store stood out with its distinct design, and was famously known for selling affordable pasta storage jars just as the pasta market began booming in the UK.

Rapid Expansion & Legacy

Habitat grew swiftly in the UK during the 1960s and even crossed borders with its first international store in Paris in 1973.

The brand's journey through the decades saw various mergers and acquisitions, including its integration with Sainsbury's Group in 2017.

Habitat's innovation extended beyond products; they even launched a mail-order system in 1966 and initiated the concept of flat-pack furniture in 1971.

Celebrating its rich history, the brand marked its 50th anniversary in 2014 by collaborating with past designers and commissioning a special logo.

Innovation & Collaboration

Habitat has always been at the forefront of modern design. Throughout its history, the brand has been renowned for its collaborations with acclaimed artists and designers, ensuring it consistently offers unique, limited-edition collections.

Under the umbrella of the Sainsbury's Group since 2017, Habitat continues its tradition of merging contemporary aesthetics with functional design, solidifying its reputation as a leading name in home furnishings.
