Description

When it comes to storage, we're firm believers in a 'more is more' philosophy. An effortless space-saving solution, the Munich single drawer maximises your wardrobe's potential. Fully extending outwards for convenience, this drawer has the added benefit of premium soft-close runners. Just one of the many optional extras available with the Munich one door wardrobe, playing hide and seek with your clothes will be a distant memory.

Our Stylist Says

I love this inner glass drawer because it adds a sleek, contemporary touch to any bedroom setup. Its transparent glass front makes it easy to see and organise small essentials, making it particularly practical for tidying up clutter or storing accessories like jewellery or small skincare items. It works well in modern or minimalist interiors, as well as in more eclectic schemes where a touch of transparency can add visual interest. For styling, try pairing it with soft textiles and neutral tones to keep the look balanced, or contrast it with bold colours and textures for a more eclectic vibe. It’s a versatile addition that enhances organisation with a subtle, stylish presence.

About Habitat

Founded in 1964, Habitat are a renowned brand, and a go-to destination for modern and stylish furniture and home accessories.

The Birth of Habitat

In 1964, Sir Terence Conran founded Habitat in London, aiming to bring a fresh European touch to UK home decor.

The first store, located on Fulham Road in Chelsea, became the blueprint for all Habitat stores to come. The store stood out with its distinct design, and was famously known for selling affordable pasta storage jars just as the pasta market began booming in the UK.

Rapid Expansion & Legacy

Habitat grew swiftly in the UK during the 1960s and even crossed borders with its first international store in Paris in 1973.

The brand's journey through the decades saw various mergers and acquisitions, including its integration with Sainsbury's Group in 2017.

Habitat's innovation extended beyond products; they even launched a mail-order system in 1966 and initiated the concept of flat-pack furniture in 1971.

Celebrating its rich history, the brand marked its 50th anniversary in 2014 by collaborating with past designers and commissioning a special logo.

Innovation & Collaboration

Habitat has always been at the forefront of modern design. Throughout its history, the brand has been renowned for its collaborations with acclaimed artists and designers, ensuring it consistently offers unique, limited-edition collections.

Under the umbrella of the Sainsbury's Group since 2017, Habitat continues its tradition of merging contemporary aesthetics with functional design, solidifying its reputation as a leading name in home furnishings.
