Description

Fabulously floral. The scent of geranium meets a hint of basil in our large, scented candle. Herbaceous notes blend seamlessly with a touch of citrusy spice to create a soft but potent fragrance. A real aromatic delight in a two-tone brown and white ceramic jar. Geranium & Basil scent. Paraffin wax. Approximate burn time 30 hours. Size H7, W15, D15cm.

Our Stylist Says

I love this candle because of its simple yet modern ceramic design, which works well in a variety of interiors-from contemporary to coastal schemes. The natural earthy tones make it versatile, easily complementing both neutral palettes and more vibrant surroundings. To style it effectively, consider placing it on a minimalist tray or a stack of books in your living room or bedroom for added depth. It also works beautifully as a centrepiece on a dining table or sideboard, especially when grouped with other candles or small decorative objects. The scent of geranium and basil adds a fresh, herbaceous touch that’s perfect for creating a calm, inviting atmosphere in any space.

About Habitat

Founded in 1964, Habitat are a renowned brand, and a go-to destination for modern and stylish furniture and home accessories.

The Birth of Habitat

In 1964, Sir Terence Conran founded Habitat in London, aiming to bring a fresh European touch to UK home decor.

The first store, located on Fulham Road in Chelsea, became the blueprint for all Habitat stores to come. The store stood out with its distinct design, and was famously known for selling affordable pasta storage jars just as the pasta market began booming in the UK.

Rapid Expansion & Legacy

Habitat grew swiftly in the UK during the 1960s and even crossed borders with its first international store in Paris in 1973.

The brand's journey through the decades saw various mergers and acquisitions, including its integration with Sainsbury's Group in 2017.

Habitat's innovation extended beyond products; they even launched a mail-order system in 1966 and initiated the concept of flat-pack furniture in 1971.

Celebrating its rich history, the brand marked its 50th anniversary in 2014 by collaborating with past designers and commissioning a special logo.

Innovation & Collaboration

Habitat has always been at the forefront of modern design. Throughout its history, the brand has been renowned for its collaborations with acclaimed artists and designers, ensuring it consistently offers unique, limited-edition collections.

Under the umbrella of the Sainsbury's Group since 2017, Habitat continues its tradition of merging contemporary aesthetics with functional design, solidifying its reputation as a leading name in home furnishings.
