Description

Kick back and enjoy the sun. In cool charcoal , this metal and fabric picnic chair is made for chilling. Easy to carry, it folds flat so you can read, rest and repeat wherever you go. And when the sun hides behind the clouds, simply tuck your chair neatly away. A comfy companion for the beach, BBQs and beyond.

Our Stylist Says

I love this garden chair for its practical versatility and sleek, minimalist design. It’s ideal for contemporary outdoor spaces, such as modern patios or urban balconies, but can also add a touch of understated elegance to more traditional gardens. The charcoal colour makes it easy to coordinate with a variety of colour schemes and furniture styles, while its folding feature ensures effortless storage when not in use. Styling tips include pairing it with neutral or earthy tones for a relaxed look, or mixing with vibrant cushions or throws for added comfort and colour. It works well layered with other materials like wood or metal to create a balanced outdoor setup that’s both functional and stylish.

About Habitat

Founded in 1964, Habitat are a renowned brand, and a go-to destination for modern and stylish furniture and home accessories.

The Birth of Habitat

In 1964, Sir Terence Conran founded Habitat in London, aiming to bring a fresh European touch to UK home decor.

The first store, located on Fulham Road in Chelsea, became the blueprint for all Habitat stores to come. The store stood out with its distinct design, and was famously known for selling affordable pasta storage jars just as the pasta market began booming in the UK.

Rapid Expansion & Legacy

Habitat grew swiftly in the UK during the 1960s and even crossed borders with its first international store in Paris in 1973.

The brand's journey through the decades saw various mergers and acquisitions, including its integration with Sainsbury's Group in 2017.

Habitat's innovation extended beyond products; they even launched a mail-order system in 1966 and initiated the concept of flat-pack furniture in 1971.

Celebrating its rich history, the brand marked its 50th anniversary in 2014 by collaborating with past designers and commissioning a special logo.

Innovation & Collaboration

Habitat has always been at the forefront of modern design. Throughout its history, the brand has been renowned for its collaborations with acclaimed artists and designers, ensuring it consistently offers unique, limited-edition collections.

Under the umbrella of the Sainsbury's Group since 2017, Habitat continues its tradition of merging contemporary aesthetics with functional design, solidifying its reputation as a leading name in home furnishings.
