A rich mid-century walnut aesthetic meets simple scandi looks. Making Loxley one of our favourite designs. This 2-door wardrobe shouts high end. Echoing the functional principles of those early modernists, our wardrobe offers both long and semi-long hanging from an authentically styled fixed wooden rail. Plus 2 soft close easy glide drawers on metal runners. The external drawer styling, and shorter door are typical of the 20th Century period as are the circular turned wooden handles and classically styled plinth. Beautiful. Perfectly proportioned and practical. Part of the Loxley collection. Made of solid wood and MDF. Wooden handles. 2 doors. 2 drawers with metal runners. Soft close. 1 fixed hanging rail. Hanging rail holds up to 50kg. 1 fixed shelf. Packed flat - 2 people recommended (includes wall fixings). The Birth of Habitat
In 1964, Sir Terence Conran founded Habitat in London, aiming to bring a fresh European touch to UK home decor.
The first store, located on Fulham Road in Chelsea, became the blueprint for all Habitat stores to come. The store stood out with its distinct design, and was famously known for selling affordable pasta storage jars just as the pasta market began booming in the UK.
