Description

When it's made for you, you know you'll love it. Lomond is our first Full Circle range which means while its design roots are in mid-century, it's designed for the future with a focus on recycling. Its style is comfortably inviting, with generous seats, scatter cushions, gently angled lines and tapered wooden legs. And in a rich velvet, it has a luxe look. We've ensured Lomond can be easily disassembled into components, allowing its wooden frame and even legs, bolts and screws to be 100% recycled. And in the unlikely event of damage, this also makes it easy for our trained technician to call and mend it in your home. Our Stylist Says

I love this sofa for its bold orange colour, which can act as a statement piece in a variety of interiors. Its dark legs add a grounding element, making it versatile enough to work in both contemporary and retro-inspired spaces. This corner sofa is ideal for living rooms that want a lively, inviting vibe and offers practical comfort with ample seating. Styling tips include pairing it with neutral or muted tones for a balanced look, or adding colourful cushions for extra texture. It also works well with eclectic mixes of patterns or in minimalist settings, where its vibrant hue can truly shine. Just ensure you leave enough space around it to showcase its shape and colour, as it’s certainly a piece that draws the eye.

About Habitat

Founded in 1964, Habitat are a renowned brand, and a go-to destination for modern and stylish furniture and home accessories.

The Birth of Habitat

In 1964, Sir Terence Conran founded Habitat in London, aiming to bring a fresh European touch to UK home decor.

The first store, located on Fulham Road in Chelsea, became the blueprint for all Habitat stores to come. The store stood out with its distinct design, and was famously known for selling affordable pasta storage jars just as the pasta market began booming in the UK.

Rapid Expansion & Legacy

Habitat grew swiftly in the UK during the 1960s and even crossed borders with its first international store in Paris in 1973.

The brand's journey through the decades saw various mergers and acquisitions, including its integration with Sainsbury's Group in 2017.

Habitat's innovation extended beyond products; they even launched a mail-order system in 1966 and initiated the concept of flat-pack furniture in 1971.

Celebrating its rich history, the brand marked its 50th anniversary in 2014 by collaborating with past designers and commissioning a special logo.

Innovation & Collaboration

Habitat has always been at the forefront of modern design. Throughout its history, the brand has been renowned for its collaborations with acclaimed artists and designers, ensuring it consistently offers unique, limited-edition collections.

Under the umbrella of the Sainsbury's Group since 2017, Habitat continues its tradition of merging contemporary aesthetics with functional design, solidifying its reputation as a leading name in home furnishings.
