Description

When it's made for you, you know you'll love it. Lomond is our first Full Circle range which means while its design roots are in mid-century, it's designed for the future with a focus on recycling. Its style is comfortably inviting, with generous seats, scatter cushions, gently angled lines and tapered wooden legs. And in a contemporary flat weave, the Lomond has a smooth but tonal look. We've ensured Lomond can be easily disassembled into components, allowing its wooden frame and even legs, bolts and screws to be 100% recycled. And in the unlikely event of damage, this also makes it easy for our trained technician to call and mend it in your home. Offering a more supportive seat, the Lomond's cushions use 100% recycled fibre to create a relaxing, inviting look while offering controlled support. Hand made to order in the UK, the Lomond uses quality materials and traditional techniques for furniture that's unique to you. Our Stylist Says

The Lomond fabric two-seater in blue is a versatile piece that works well in both contemporary and vintage-inspired interiors. The muted blue shade makes it easy to pair with neutral palettes or vibrant accents, adding a touch of calm to social spaces or cosy corners. I love how its clean lines and ash legs keep the look modern, but the plush cushions invite relaxation. Practical styling tips include adding textured cushions or throws in complementary colours to bring warmth and personalise your sofa. It’s a great choice for smaller living rooms or apartments where a stylish yet comfortable seating option is needed, and its colour works beautifully with soft greys, warm woods, or even contrasting bold hues for a more eclectic mix.

About Habitat

Founded in 1964, Habitat are a renowned brand, and a go-to destination for modern and stylish furniture and home accessories.

The Birth of Habitat

In 1964, Sir Terence Conran founded Habitat in London, aiming to bring a fresh European touch to UK home decor.

The first store, located on Fulham Road in Chelsea, became the blueprint for all Habitat stores to come. The store stood out with its distinct design, and was famously known for selling affordable pasta storage jars just as the pasta market began booming in the UK.

Rapid Expansion & Legacy

Habitat grew swiftly in the UK during the 1960s and even crossed borders with its first international store in Paris in 1973.

The brand's journey through the decades saw various mergers and acquisitions, including its integration with Sainsbury's Group in 2017.

Habitat's innovation extended beyond products; they even launched a mail-order system in 1966 and initiated the concept of flat-pack furniture in 1971.

Celebrating its rich history, the brand marked its 50th anniversary in 2014 by collaborating with past designers and commissioning a special logo.

Innovation & Collaboration

Habitat has always been at the forefront of modern design. Throughout its history, the brand has been renowned for its collaborations with acclaimed artists and designers, ensuring it consistently offers unique, limited-edition collections.

Under the umbrella of the Sainsbury's Group since 2017, Habitat continues its tradition of merging contemporary aesthetics with functional design, solidifying its reputation as a leading name in home furnishings.
