Description

Combine smart storage with modern style. The Lloyd cabin bed comes with 2 deep storage drawers under the bed. The perfect hideaway for toys, clothes and more – this bed is great for smaller bedrooms. And its rustic wood effect finish and cut-out handles create a natural and uncluttered look. A modern and sturdy bed designed to last as your child grows, from age from 4 years upwards.

Our Stylist Says

I really like the Habitat Lloyd single cabin bed because of its versatile rustic oak finish, which makes it suitable for a range of interior styles, from modern rustic to more classic schemes. Its clean, simple lines keep it practical and functional, especially with the under-bed storage drawers that help optimise space. This bed works well in smaller bedrooms, guest rooms, or shared spaces where clever storage is key. To style around it, consider soft, neutral bedding for a calm look, or add colourful cushions and throws for a more playful vibe. Incorporating wooden or wicker accessories can enhance its rustic charm, making the whole room feel cosy and coordinated.

About Habitat

Founded in 1964, Habitat are a renowned brand, and a go-to destination for modern and stylish furniture and home accessories.

The Birth of Habitat

In 1964, Sir Terence Conran founded Habitat in London, aiming to bring a fresh European touch to UK home decor.

The first store, located on Fulham Road in Chelsea, became the blueprint for all Habitat stores to come. The store stood out with its distinct design, and was famously known for selling affordable pasta storage jars just as the pasta market began booming in the UK.

Rapid Expansion & Legacy

Habitat grew swiftly in the UK during the 1960s and even crossed borders with its first international store in Paris in 1973.

The brand's journey through the decades saw various mergers and acquisitions, including its integration with Sainsbury's Group in 2017.

Habitat's innovation extended beyond products; they even launched a mail-order system in 1966 and initiated the concept of flat-pack furniture in 1971.

Celebrating its rich history, the brand marked its 50th anniversary in 2014 by collaborating with past designers and commissioning a special logo.

Innovation & Collaboration

Habitat has always been at the forefront of modern design. Throughout its history, the brand has been renowned for its collaborations with acclaimed artists and designers, ensuring it consistently offers unique, limited-edition collections.

Under the umbrella of the Sainsbury's Group since 2017, Habitat continues its tradition of merging contemporary aesthetics with functional design, solidifying its reputation as a leading name in home furnishings.
