Like top stitched seams and turned ash legs. Upholstered in a velvety sheen Chenille, the Lars takes on a rich, soft, textured look. Designed to be modular if required, Lars is a flexible, family-friendly Scandi inspired design with space efficiency at its core. Relaxing and generously padded the Lars's fixed seat and cushioned back use a high-density foam core wrapped in a softer foam layer to create the perfect balance of support, durability and recovery. While the removable oblong lumber cushions add an additional layer of comfort and support. Hand made to order in the UK, the Lars uses quality materials and traditional techniques for furniture that's unique to you. Available in a choice of sizes and fabrics including Aquaclean technology protection built into the yarn, which is easy to clean with just water. Part of the Lars collection. The Birth of Habitat
In 1964, Sir Terence Conran founded Habitat in London, aiming to bring a fresh European touch to UK home decor.
The first store, located on Fulham Road in Chelsea, became the blueprint for all Habitat stores to come. The store stood out with its distinct design, and was famously known for selling affordable pasta storage jars just as the pasta market began booming in the UK.
