Description

Get the golden glow. Our large, scented candle makes a glittering centrepiece. Set the mood in seconds. Just light up the trio of wicks for a soothing, sensual feel. Enjoy the calming aroma as it floats through your home. We're all about its metallic finish and textural details. Dinner party or a night by the fire? Light up for an instant intimate ambience. Divine.

Our Stylist Says

I love this large urn candle because it offers a striking focal point that instantly adds warmth to any space. Its years, statement design makes it ideal for both contemporary and traditional interiors, especially when styled on a mantel, sideboard, or as a centrepiece on a dining table. The Christmas Spice scent is festive without being overwhelming, perfect for seasonal decor. For styling tips, consider pairing it with neutral textiles or greenery to let the candle stand out, and place it on a tray with other decorative accents for a layered look. It’s a versatile piece that marries elegance with a cosy holiday vibe, making it a practical yet stylish addition to seasonal arrangements.

About Habitat

Founded in 1964, Habitat are a renowned brand, and a go-to destination for modern and stylish furniture and home accessories.

The Birth of Habitat

In 1964, Sir Terence Conran founded Habitat in London, aiming to bring a fresh European touch to UK home decor.

The first store, located on Fulham Road in Chelsea, became the blueprint for all Habitat stores to come. The store stood out with its distinct design, and was famously known for selling affordable pasta storage jars just as the pasta market began booming in the UK.

Rapid Expansion & Legacy

Habitat grew swiftly in the UK during the 1960s and even crossed borders with its first international store in Paris in 1973.

The brand's journey through the decades saw various mergers and acquisitions, including its integration with Sainsbury's Group in 2017.

Habitat's innovation extended beyond products; they even launched a mail-order system in 1966 and initiated the concept of flat-pack furniture in 1971.

Celebrating its rich history, the brand marked its 50th anniversary in 2014 by collaborating with past designers and commissioning a special logo.

Innovation & Collaboration

Habitat has always been at the forefront of modern design. Throughout its history, the brand has been renowned for its collaborations with acclaimed artists and designers, ensuring it consistently offers unique, limited-edition collections.

Under the umbrella of the Sainsbury's Group since 2017, Habitat continues its tradition of merging contemporary aesthetics with functional design, solidifying its reputation as a leading name in home furnishings.
