Price History

Description

A splash of citrus. Our large, abstract orange glass vase boasts a bold personality. Elegantly chunky, it's purposely crafted with trapped air bubbles to give an artisan look. While linear lines against a curved silhouette create a real mid-century feel. Add flowers or let it shine on its own. A work of art. Liven up your home with more accent pieces. We've loads of rugs, throws, cushions and more for you to explore. Size H25.5, W16.5, D16.5cm.

Our Stylist Says

I love this large glass vase for its bold, modern look and vibrant orange hue, which can instantly add warmth and colour to a room. It works particularly well in contemporary or minimalist interiors, where its striking design can serve as a statement piece. For styling, you could fill it with tall, sculptural floral arrangements or long-stemmed greenery to emphasise its shape, or keep it empty to showcase its colour and form. It’s ideal for placing on a sideboard, console table, or even as a centrepiece on a dining table. Keep in mind that its size can fill plenty of space, so it’s perfect for larger surfaces where it can be an eye-catching focal point.

About Habitat

Founded in 1964, Habitat are a renowned brand, and a go-to destination for modern and stylish furniture and home accessories.

The Birth of Habitat

In 1964, Sir Terence Conran founded Habitat in London, aiming to bring a fresh European touch to UK home decor.

The first store, located on Fulham Road in Chelsea, became the blueprint for all Habitat stores to come. The store stood out with its distinct design, and was famously known for selling affordable pasta storage jars just as the pasta market began booming in the UK.

Rapid Expansion & Legacy

Habitat grew swiftly in the UK during the 1960s and even crossed borders with its first international store in Paris in 1973.

The brand's journey through the decades saw various mergers and acquisitions, including its integration with Sainsbury's Group in 2017.

Habitat's innovation extended beyond products; they even launched a mail-order system in 1966 and initiated the concept of flat-pack furniture in 1971.

Celebrating its rich history, the brand marked its 50th anniversary in 2014 by collaborating with past designers and commissioning a special logo.

Innovation & Collaboration

Habitat has always been at the forefront of modern design. Throughout its history, the brand has been renowned for its collaborations with acclaimed artists and designers, ensuring it consistently offers unique, limited-edition collections.

Under the umbrella of the Sainsbury's Group since 2017, Habitat continues its tradition of merging contemporary aesthetics with functional design, solidifying its reputation as a leading name in home furnishings.
