Description

The chair bean bag has been designed as a big teenage/ adult beanbag that is also a supportive arm chair. The bags are made from a strong, durable, shower-proof and UV Resistant material - meaning the sun and rain won't damage them. Although perfectly suited for use outside, these bean bags look great in any living room or bedroom and come with a bottle holder and a pocket to put your remotes or phones in. These bean bags are not fully waterproof due to the stitch detail so if there's more than a light shower, it's time to head inside!

Our Stylist Says

I really like this bean bag for its relaxed, oversized look which adds a pop of colour to any teenage space. Its vibrant blue works well in contemporary and casual interiors, especially in kids’ bedrooms, game rooms, or reading nooks. It’s practical too-easy to move around and perfect for creating a cosy corner. To style it effectively, consider pairing it with neutral or muted-toned furniture for balance, and add layered textiles like throws and cushions for extra comfort and visual interest. It’s a versatile piece that encourages lounging, making it a functional focal point in informal living areas.

About Habitat

Founded in 1964, Habitat are a renowned brand, and a go-to destination for modern and stylish furniture and home accessories.

The Birth of Habitat

In 1964, Sir Terence Conran founded Habitat in London, aiming to bring a fresh European touch to UK home decor.

The first store, located on Fulham Road in Chelsea, became the blueprint for all Habitat stores to come. The store stood out with its distinct design, and was famously known for selling affordable pasta storage jars just as the pasta market began booming in the UK.

Rapid Expansion & Legacy

Habitat grew swiftly in the UK during the 1960s and even crossed borders with its first international store in Paris in 1973.

The brand's journey through the decades saw various mergers and acquisitions, including its integration with Sainsbury's Group in 2017.

Habitat's innovation extended beyond products; they even launched a mail-order system in 1966 and initiated the concept of flat-pack furniture in 1971.

Celebrating its rich history, the brand marked its 50th anniversary in 2014 by collaborating with past designers and commissioning a special logo.

Innovation & Collaboration

Habitat has always been at the forefront of modern design. Throughout its history, the brand has been renowned for its collaborations with acclaimed artists and designers, ensuring it consistently offers unique, limited-edition collections.

Under the umbrella of the Sainsbury's Group since 2017, Habitat continues its tradition of merging contemporary aesthetics with functional design, solidifying its reputation as a leading name in home furnishings.
