And the 2 drawers glide open easily on metal runners. With plenty of room on top for a lamp and a book, it's also bedtime story friendly. Our products are designed with kids in mind and are built to cope with everyday use. Tested to the latest safety regulations, they comply with British and European safety standards. In 1964, Sir Terence Conran founded Habitat in London, aiming to bring a fresh European touch to UK home decor.
