Description

It's always fun o'clock with our lively lion timepiece. Bold, bright and easy to read, the analogue dial is the ideal introduction to telling the time. King of the jungle, our charming lion waves his tail every second and gives out a soothing tick. Pop him in the kids' room and your little cubs will love him watching over bedtime. Easy to hang and battery powered. Be sure to give our clock pride of place.

Our Stylist Says

This fun lion faced wall clock is a great way to add a dash of colour and character to a child's room or playful space. I love its bold orange hue, which works well in neutral or pastel interiors to create a cheerful focal point. It pairs nicely with natural woods, whites, and soft fabrics, helping to keep the room feeling lively yet balanced. Practical styling tips include positioning it at child’s eye level for easy time-telling and pairing it with other playful accessories, like lion-themed bedding or mobiles, to create a cohesive look. Its whimsical design also means it can effortlessly fit into eclectic or modern interiors aimed at younger audiences or those who love a bit of fun in their decor.

About Habitat

Founded in 1964, Habitat are a renowned brand, and a go-to destination for modern and stylish furniture and home accessories.

The Birth of Habitat

In 1964, Sir Terence Conran founded Habitat in London, aiming to bring a fresh European touch to UK home decor.

The first store, located on Fulham Road in Chelsea, became the blueprint for all Habitat stores to come. The store stood out with its distinct design, and was famously known for selling affordable pasta storage jars just as the pasta market began booming in the UK.

Rapid Expansion & Legacy

Habitat grew swiftly in the UK during the 1960s and even crossed borders with its first international store in Paris in 1973.

The brand's journey through the decades saw various mergers and acquisitions, including its integration with Sainsbury's Group in 2017.

Habitat's innovation extended beyond products; they even launched a mail-order system in 1966 and initiated the concept of flat-pack furniture in 1971.

Celebrating its rich history, the brand marked its 50th anniversary in 2014 by collaborating with past designers and commissioning a special logo.

Innovation & Collaboration

Habitat has always been at the forefront of modern design. Throughout its history, the brand has been renowned for its collaborations with acclaimed artists and designers, ensuring it consistently offers unique, limited-edition collections.

Under the umbrella of the Sainsbury's Group since 2017, Habitat continues its tradition of merging contemporary aesthetics with functional design, solidifying its reputation as a leading name in home furnishings.
